Welcome!

Hello, बृहस्पति, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Gopal Namkeen, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content protocols, and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. Speedy deletion nomination of Gopal Namkeen

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Gopal Namkeen, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Disambiguation link notification for June 23

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Military budget of India, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page NDA (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Proposed deletion of Deepak Nitrite

The article Deepak Nitrite has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Only stocks related news. Fails WP:NCORP.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. About your edit on Rape during the Bangladesh Liberation War

Hello, there. About the citations you provided, where does it say Muslim women were the main victim? We all know that Hindus were the main target of Pakistan. However, both Muslim and Hindu, irrespective of their religions were assaulted by the Pakistani military. So I think it's better not to mention any specific religion. What do you think about it? MSouvik01 (talk) 12:52, 13 December 2021 (UTC)

One of your citations says,"Of the 19 women whose stories appear in this collection, 15 are Muslims, 2 are Hindus and 2 are Buddhists. Ms. Guhathakurta writes in her introduction to the book: “Out of the 19 interviewees, 9 were rape victims.”- These 9 women are just interviewed. What does it have anything to do with Muslim women being the most victim? Can 9 women represent the whole number of victims? — Preceding unsigned comment added by MSouvik01 (talkcontribs) 13:18, 13 December 2021 (UTC)

Another citation you provided says, "There was also an attempt to wipe out the minorities from Bangladesh at the time of liberation war. In his eye-witness account Capt (Retd.) Syed Suzauddin Ahmed describes, on an instance, he heard "an army officer shouting, 'why you have killed Muslims. We ordered you to kill only Hindus." According to him, 'thus, I realised that they wanted to kill all Hindus of the country'

Though Bengali women were raped irrespective of their religious identity, Hindu women were mostly targeted." - Doesn't this mean Hindu women were the most victims?

So let's not add anything controversial. I have removed the sentence, but your citations are helpful. I hope you agree with me. Have a good day! MSouvik01 (talk)

@MSouvik01: I agree with you up to some extent that we should not mention any specific religion. If you read the previous versions of article you find that the article was well structured and neutral about religion. But then..Some editors tried to portray that majority rape victims were Hindus, which is not true and also not logical.(approx. 80% populations were Muslims at that time and you also agreed on that the pak army assaulted women irrespective of religion., so logically also 80% of them were Muslims.). A new section of [Hindu victims] was also added afterwards which disturbed balance. Please have a look at my previous edit. and also have a look at [1971 War Talk page]. The 3 out of 4 sources clearly tells that majority victims were Muslims. The forth mentions only about 19, so you may neglect that. If you removed my edit to neutralize the article about the religion then it is your moral responsibility to look at others sections of article too.❯❯❯Praveg A=9.8 13:33, 13 December 2021 (UTC)

Hello my friend, I saw your previous edit. That was one editor's personal opinion, maybe even vandalism. You did a good job by removing it. You can always remove such sensitive sentences. Now about the majority, look, in a war all people are harmed irrespective of their religions or class. But Pakistan's intention was clearly to wipe out the minority Hindu people and to "purify" the Muslims. So a section mentioning their evil motive towards the Hindu people maybe not that bad. What do tou think?

Pakistani army used to search for Mukti Bahini and the Hindu people. So they are the main victims. But in fact, pakistani army and rajakars also killed and r**ed many Muslims. 80% people were Muslim but the ratio Pakistan assaulted Muslims weren't 80%. Because they had a main target- The Hindu. So the ratio Muslims assaulted will not be 80% at all, maybe 50-50. And also, you can't just believe any books written on wars and casualties. They are all biased toward one or another, you know. MSouvik01 (talk) 14:23, 13 December 2021 (UTC)

Also, Pakistani religious (?) leaders created a ridiculous fatwa that claimed Mukti bahini are Hindu. But you know, most of the muktijoddha are Muslims, they are fighting for their country. So the fatwa of Pakistan saying bengalis are hindu and their women are "war booty" is against Islam. So they are just radicalist and extremists; they are not true Muslims. Their target was mainly our hindu brothers and sisters, but they massacred Both muslims and hindus. So, majority rape victims weren't Muslims nor Hindus, it was 50-50. I think 80% logic is not working here. What do you think? MSouvik01 (talk) 14:39, 13 December 2021 (UTC)

Dear MSouvik01, I will research on this topic, some deep digging required. And I will add appropriate sentence backed with the solid citations.

You asked for my opinion, here it is:

Pakistan's religious leaders openly supported the crime by labelling Bengali freedom fighters as "Hindus", Which means performing atrocities against Hindus was not crime as per their mindset. And I don't think their mindset is changed yet. That's why some editors are trying to portray that most of the victims of atrocities were Hindu and trying to justify the actions of Pak army. So the actual figures/percentage is required for the articles to summaries barbarism of Pak army.❯❯❯Praveg A=9.8 11:42, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

Well, pakistan really has that type of mindset and they did all these claiming bengali people hindu even though they were muslim, isn't it? And performing atrocities against any religion, let alone hindu, is war crime, that can never justify their atrocities.

If any editor adds something controversial or personal opinion to justify pakistan or claiming hindu or muslim the major victims, you can remove that. So let's not add any controversial percentage. Is the current lead section somewhat ok? MSouvik01 (talk) 13:34, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

@Pravega please do not misinterpret sources. You are adding original research to all these articles. I have explained here, this is considered a genocidal rape because the perpetrators specifically targeted the Hindus with an intention to destroy their existence. The perpetrators also included Bengali Muslims so if you say Muslims were also targeted, you are denying the genocidal claims, for which there is a clear academic consensus. Please try to understand. A.Musketeer (talk) 11:27, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

This user named "A.Musketeer" is constantly vandalizing the page and showing the hindu as the only victims. And He just copy-pasted the same text that already exists under "Hindu victims" section. I just reorganized the lead and edited but that user reverted it back. What should be done? MSouvik01 (talk) 18:00, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

Dear MSouvik01, If someone is doing vandalism consistently then you may report the user or post warning message on his/her talk page. If you have any further doubts, You can go to Wikipedia:Teahouse and ask your doubt if needed.❯❯❯Praveg A=9.8 11:04, 17 December 2021 (UTC)

Edit warring

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Your submission at Articles for creation: BoAt (February 17)

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reasons left by RPSkokie were: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. This submission is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.
RPSkokie (talk) 10:29, 17 February 2022 (UTC)

@RPSkokie: I definitely think the article is notable as per WP:ORG. Can you please mention any specific criteria which draft lacks. Because I already included enough secondary and reliable sources which are independent. Previous editor of the draft may added some advertisement like sentences but I already removed such content to meet Wikipedia guideline.❯❯❯Pravega g=9.8 10:44, 17 February 2022 (UTC)

WP:ROUTINE, routine news coverage as announcements are not sufficient basis for an article. RPSkokie (talk) 03:25, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
@RPSkokie: I included more references which have significant coverage of the company other than WP:ROUTINE, Please have a look at it.❯❯❯Pravega g=9.8 04:42, 18 February 2022 (UTC)

March 2022

Hi Pravega! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Kashmir Files that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
