A first barnstar! edit

  The Original Barnstar
Thanks for your speedy work on Minneapolis Miracle. Of course, it happened so recently that we don't know if that's what the play (or the game) is gonna be called, long-term, but it was right on the money getting that article up and running as quickly as you did, in my opinion. Great work there. If there's anything I can ever help you with or advise you about with respect to Wikipedia, its culture, and its byzantine system of rules and governance, don't hesitate to drop me a line on my talk page. —tim //// Carrite (talk) 13:38, 15 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Clare Malone edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Clare Malone requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Theroadislong (talk) 17:00, 21 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Just a quick note for the future: as the template describes, speedy deletion policy does not permit the entry's creator to remove a speedy tag, only to state their objections on the talk page. In this case it doesn't matter too much; probably an A7 tag would have been declined by another editor anyway (typically the AdWeek mention would suffice to indicate a 'credible claim of significance') and we would have ended up discussing it at AfD either way, but going forward, please do take care not to remove any such tags from your entries, so as not to circumvent process. Thank you! Innisfree987 (talk) 19:03, 9 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

February 2018 edit

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Inauguration of Donald Trump, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 22:10, 22 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

File:Fred Ellis photo.png edit

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:12, 25 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:Fred Ellis photo.png edit

Thank you for uploading File:Fred Ellis photo.png. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
