Lallsons edit

A tag has been placed on Lallsons, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please write {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.  – Tivedshambo (talk) 18:28, 9 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Mankameshwar Temple edit

A tag has been placed on Mankameshwar Temple requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Image copyright problem with Image:Holi1.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Holi1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 11:08, 21 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:MapVOF.gif edit

Thanks for uploading Image:MapVOF.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 10:00, 20 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

As a copyright violation, Image:Paliwal Park Agra.jpg appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Image:Paliwal Park Agra.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

AfD nomination of Mandi's of Agra edit

I have nominated Mandi's of Agra, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mandi's of Agra. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Image source problem with Image:Lodhfalls.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Lodhfalls.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 14:14, 5 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 14:14, 5 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Hastinapur National Park, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Phlegm Rooster (talk) 09:59, 25 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Mahavir Swami Sanctuary. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you.

Two week block; persistent copyright violations edit

You have been blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy because of your persistent placement of copyrighted material on Wikipedia in spite of numerous warnings, including a warning of block in July. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. Further placement of copyrighted text on Wikipedia may result in your account being indefinitely blocked from editing. You must not continue to copy sentences and paragraphs from external sources and place them on Wikipedia, as this is a matter of serious legal concern to the project. If you do not understand how to revise material for use or are unclear on the fair use policies, please seek assistance. You are welcome to approach me at my talk page. You may also request help at Wikipedia's help desk, which is typically manned around the clock by volunteers. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:15, 21 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Good work done edit

Hi,

I just came across your work and found that you have contributed quite a lot to Wikipedia. Over the time, my main contribution to Wikipedia have been categorization of pages, and I have created quite a lost of categories esp related to Districts of several states of India (UP, HP, Haryana, Punjab, Uttrakhand, all NE states, several in MP and Maharashtra etc) and have put pages into them.
May be you would like to add you user page to category like Category:Uttar_Pradesh_Wikipedians / Category:Jhansi_Wikipedians etc. It helps in collaboration related to pages which can be mapped to some geography say pages related to City, Monuments, People etc pages.
I can see you, User:Anujkhandelwal and User:Tharkee have contributed handsomely to UP and esp Agra related pages, user categories like Category:Agra_Wikipedians can bring such Wikipedians together. Vjdchauhan (talk) 10:46, 16 October 2008 (UTC).Reply

Proposed deletion of India in Motion edit

The article India in Motion has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable film.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
