Hello Imakewikipedianpages! Your additions to Mongol Invasion of Ossetia have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 23:01, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Byzantine's Cede of Ani to Georgia moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Byzantine's Cede of Ani to Georgia. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Schminnte (talk contribs) 19:04, 8 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Cut and paste move

edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Byzantine's Cede of Ani to Georgia. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read!   Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to List of Georgian battles. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. 1. Adding Reasons and References. First of all, I would like to Start with me adding Reasons and References. I have added reasons why I changed something, Like "Kakhetian Uprising (1812)". I typed reasons in "View History". and Also, I have made edits with adding References to them.
  2. Adding useful Wikipedia articles (To people from Georgia (country)). I have been adding Articles that were useful sometimes, (Unfortunately Some of them got Deleted). Like Mongol invasion of Ossetia or Battle of Artaan. These articles were useful for more and had nothing bad to do with it.
  3. Expand of Other Articles. I have expanded Other articles a bit like Caucasian campaign, List of Georgian battles, etc. and Guess what? They were not deleted by anyone. and although I Have made some mistakes, Why do you have to give 1 month Block? That is too much for some little mistakes.

First of all, I would like to say an apology for the stuff I have done. Secondly, In the IP block thingy, It says that I was an aggressive, which I am not. I am just adding stuff that in my opinion are Great for the article, Thirdly I won't do the stuff that was my mistake ever again, If I am making something, I will look after it and think If it is good or not, I have known What I have done Bad and what I did terrible. Fourthly, It was Unfair for Someone to block me because of Small Edits, Small articles or Small mistakes I have done, And lastly, I haven't Used my other Accounts, This is my main account that I Always use. Sure, I have used other accounts sometimes but Thats when my Laptop or My PC isn't on, I use "Andriaofiphone" on My Iphone and "Georgianandria" on my Main phone.

Alright, I have seen "Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/NormalguyfromUK" Article And This will be My Last Request for Unblock. In the article, Its said: 1. "Adding Georgianandria, created August 2023. The usual precocious edits, then recreated Battle of Artaan, last created by blocked sock User:Nugoooo (four "o"s). Edited seconds later by Imakewikipedianpages, then Caucasian127, who then moved it to Battle of Artaani. The usual edit overlap, and the usual topic focus"

Well I got an answer Why I did that. So Since mobile Doesn't have that great Editing style like Computer/Laptop Does, Like I can't add add References or Topics, And Because there was no References I knew someone would see it and then they would make it into a Draft. PLUS I didn't wanted to Restart the Article that was Started In Mobile. So Thats only the first.

2. "Going down the rabbithole... adding Imakewikipedianpages and blocked User:Nugo20299. Imakewikipedianpages was created 29 August, and submitted Draft:Battle of Akhalkalaki (1918) at AfC on 19 Oct [3] and added a ton of copyvio to same draft, four days after draft creator User:Nugo20299 was blocked. Very similar topic focus to User:Nugo20299 and previous socks, and edit overlap with Nugoooooo (that's six "o"s). Requesting CU."

I don't Really know What I have to say about it, I didn't know if someone wanted that article as a Draft, Also I forgot to add more references (which I have now) So thats why it got declined (Probably).

3. "Adding AndriaOfIphone, created 8 Oct. Four minutes after account creation, went straight into Draft:Byzantine's Cede of Ani to Georgia, running into 9 Oct: [4] (created by Imakewikipedianpages), then one more edit to List of Georgian battles, shortly after Imakewikipedianpages: [5]" So basically As I said, mobile Doesn't have that great Editing style like Computer/Laptop Does.

My name is Imakewikipedianpages (not my real name), and I am reaching out to request the reconsideration of my ban from editing on Wikipedia. I understand the importance of the Arbitration Committee's role in maintaining the integrity of Wikipedia, and I appreciate the opportunity to present my case.

I became aware of my ban from the advice of two administrators referencing the "Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee" article. Although I am uncertain about the specific reasons behind my ban, I wish to address the situation and provide context to seek a resolution.

To be candid, my enthusiasm for contributing to Wikipedia has waned over time, leading to my disinterest in active participation. Consequently, I find myself in a position where I am unsure why I am requesting an unblock. However, I acknowledge the significance of abiding by Wikipedia's policies and respect the decisions made by the Arbitration Committee.

I want to emphasize that I have decided to step away from Wikipedia editing. Therefore, I no longer consider it a focal point of my online activity. I recognize the importance of maintaining a peaceful and respectful editing environment and assure you that if my editing privileges are reinstated, I will approach any contributions with greater care and restraint.

Moreover, I commit to not engaging in any aggressive or disruptive editing behavior. I fully understand and respect the guidelines set by Wikipedia and the severity of the consequences for violating these standards. I also affirm that I will not use alternative accounts to bypass any restrictions or to edit in any manner that goes against Wikipedia's principles.

I sincerely apologize for any disturbances or disruptions I may have caused during my time as an editor. I greatly value the work of the Wikipedia community and the efforts taken by the Arbitration Committee to maintain a high standard of content and conduct.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my appeal. I am open to any guidance or conditions for reinstatement that the Committee deems necessary.

Respectfully,

ALSO I didn't even know who Nugo20299 was and I am Definitely not sockpuppet account of him, as I know he made those accounts because of blocks He was getting (I texted him because I was told to, as I remember he said he had 2 or 3 accounts and that nugooo and some other accounts aren't him), Also I am sorry if I have done anything wrong. If I'll get Unblocked, I would be very thankful, I promise you that I Will not be bad person in wikipedia who will ruin the whole app just for fun, Goodbye. Request reason:

Firstly, the only article I'm focused on is List of Georgian battles which is NOT sourced at all. in the past those Georgian "defeats" were actually Georgian victories with an actual source (They made articles about the battles unlike now). So if you will let me be unbanned I'll fix that problem. Secondly I don't know who Nugo is and I don't know why you're making me , I don't know what he did in Wikipedia but that really isn't my problem because my account was made before his (probably) and I made more articles than he ever did. Thirdly I made much mistakes In the past But I understand Wikipedia and its use. also about Nugo, He would've left Wikipedia probably because if this was his alternative/other account, he would've use this template on his main. I Promise I won't do some mistake ever again which I did in the past. Thank you for Reading this and I would be more thankful if you unbanned me :)Imakewikipedianpages (talk) 19:55, 12 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

As you were told in November, your only pathway of appeal is ArbCom. If you did and they turned you down, there is nothing more we can do for you. 331dot (talk) 23:10, 12 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
