DYK congratulations

  The 25 DYK Medal
This message seems embarrassingly late, given that you are closer to 50 DYKs than 25, but later is hopefully better than never. I offer this congratulations to you on surpassing the 25 DYK mark, writing excellent quality and interesting articles focused on media, and especially television. I have seen many of the episodes you have created articles for and seen many of these articles as they worked their way through DYK, but I had never realized that you were the source of all of these well-crafted articles until I had the chance to review your listing of DYK articles. I always encourage those hitting the 25 mark that the first 25 are the hardest and that getting to 50 should be far easier, but it should be even less of a challenge for you. Please keep up the great work with these articles and accept our collective appreciation for your efforts and our collective embarrassment at our failure to recognize it sooner. Congratulations! RE:Volcano

No problem at all, I do appreciate you asking though. I, as you point out, had a few problems with the plot section in the lead (same goes for the Cultural References section), but you can go ahead and change anything you want (it's a free encyclopedia, right?); I might even learn a thing or two for the future. Also, I feel like I'm annoying you by asking this, but do you mind searching for some sources on "Cartman's mom is a Dirty Slut" as well? Anyhow, go ahead and fix anything you like, and congratulations on getting "Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo" to FA status. Have a nice day.--Music26/11 15:34, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

First of all, great work, there were some things I heard on the commentary track that I had no use for, but you managed to place it in the article perfectly. I know your problem by the way, you just want to make a few edits, and suddenly you aren't able to stop. You made some great edits, it's a shame you weren't able to find the nielsen ratings though. Other notes, have you considered taking "Weight Gain 4000" to FAC? And, just out of curiousity, what's your favorite episode. Thank you very much for looking for sources on the "Cartman's Mom is a Dirty Slut" article, and for your edits on the "Volcano" article. That's it; have a nice day.--Music26/11 11:37, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Well, it's up to you if you want to help out at GAn, you've definitely been a great help, so you can claim co-nominatorship if you want to. Send me note if Starvin Marvin reaches FAC, so I can do a review. Also, if you haven't seen "Major Boobage" yet, I'd definitely recommend it. That's it. Later.--Music26/11 19:08, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of The Freddy Awards

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Freddy Awards, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Article doesn't state notability of subject.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. 2009 hadrosaur study

Hi Hunter,

The article looks really good, but I'm not sure an article about a single study is encyclopedic. I'd like to merge the content (which is excellent) into Hadrosaur#diet. There's a discussion of your new article at WT:DINO. Best wishes and happy editing, Firsfron of Ronchester 22:10, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

I've listed the page at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Quantitative analysis of dental microwear in hadrosaurid dinosaurs, and the implications for hypotheses of jaw mechanics and feeding, where we can discuss this article's merits. Best, Firsfron of Ronchester 23:06, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
Ok. Abyssal (talk) 00:05, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

Hello, Hunter Kahn;

I left a long comment at the deletion discussion, but the heart of it is this: I think this would make a great part of a very thorough article on hadrosaur diet in general, but I'm a bit worried about some of the press sources. The 2009 MSNBC article, for example, was very inaccurate on the material inside "Leonardo". I'm very interested in going forward with this information, but I'm going to have to wait until I can get a copy of the Purnell et al. study. Keep up the good work! J. Spencer (talk) 16:42, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use Image:James yoshimura subway doc.jpg

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:James yoshimura subway doc.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 00:49, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I don't know if you're busy, but I was wondering if you could check if there are any sources on Lexis regarding the unaired Seinfeld episode "The Bet". I think the current article has FA potential, but I cannot find any sources aside from the DVD features (that will problaby be an issue if the article comes to FAC). If you have some spare time and you don't mind, that would be great.--Music26/11 12:59, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
No problem.--Music26/11 11:45, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Hi, I don't mean to rush you or anything, but since the article is nominated for deletion, it would be great if you coul look for the sources a.s.a.p. Thanks.--Music26/11 11:30, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
No problemo! I don't think merging the article would be that bad.--Music26/11 14:41, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
You're just a cool user. By the way, you should know that I intend to depart from Wiki in a few weeks, and I may not be able to finish "Cartman's Mom is a Dirty Slut", I'll get back to you on that.--Music26/11 18:15, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

South Park

I honestly don't think striking out comments is useful because I remember SandyGeorgia saying the FAC delegates have to read each and every comment before they decide to promote/archive an article.

I'm planning to start work on "The Passion of the Jew" (been meaning to work non-music articles) sometime soon. Just wanted to know if you own any South Park books, in case I need help referencing stuff later. indopug (talk) 15:10, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

Magazines and newspapers

Hey, Hunter. I've noticed on a lot of the South Park episodes you write you have a vast plethora of newspapers and magazine articles as references - is there a website you use to find them? I've tried Google Books and they never seem to have anything. Cheers, The Flash {talk} 00:55, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

Hi, haven't spoken to you in a while

Hi, I haven't spoken to you in a while, I see it's going great with the South Park topic drive. I'm sorry I haven't been able to work in Cartman's Mom is Dirty Slut yet, It's on my to-do list. Now, as you may or may not have noticed I am working on Seinfeld season two episode articles, but I have some diffuculty findin sources for the reception sections (most of the articles I've contributed to have small reception sections). I was wondering if you could help me out with finding sources, especially for "The Baby Shower", "The Revenge" and "The Apartment", and, if you don't mind, whatever else you find. Don't feel obligated, and congratulations on getting "Starvin' Marvin" to FA by the way. Later.--Music26/11 11:06, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
