Hello Gevorg Ghazaryan. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Gray and Sons, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Gevorg Ghazaryan. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Gevorg Ghazaryan|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Sam Kuru (talk) 16:14, 11 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Dear Sam Kuru, thank you so much for your message and for your concern. However, I would like to let you know that I didn't have a financial stake in promoting a topic. My own personal interests are watches and jewelry. Therefore, it was pretty interesting to write about this company. I would also like to note your edits in the article, as you deleted a few sources that I think are trustworthy. The blog of Gray and Sons was used as a primary source in a couple of Rolex articles (Rolex GMT Master II, Rolex Day-Date), and so on. Thank you so much for assisting me in the development of this article. I look forward to hearing back from you.--Gevorg Ghazaryan (talk) 19:58, 11 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Dear Sam Kuru, I wanted to know the main reasons for moving the article from the mainspace to draft. If we consider that there were sources and refs in the article that were also used in other existing pages of Wikipedia, can we move it to the mainspace from draft? If not, what would you suggest me to work on? Also, about the namedropping changes that you made in the article. From my experience of looking at the articles of retailers, I realized it is common to include the names of companies that the retailer worked with. If its not okay and it is considered namedropping, please let me know and I will take it into account for my future articles and edits. Thank you so much!--Gevorg Ghazaryan (talk) 17:37, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Both references [1][2] to that blog were added by the same paid editing sock farm (Packistani). The other editor (Angel X) that added similar material to your article, five minutes after you created it, is also a paid editor. You've also used fabricated SEO/PR "news" sites run by a scam marketing group. Any chance you're willing to be transparent here? Sam Kuru (talk) 20:42, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Dear Sam Kuru, thank you so much for trying to help me. However, I would like to note that you are talking about my transparency, even though I already stated that I do not get compensated for my edits. About Angel X, he is my Armenian friend, who is only trying to help me in creating my first article in English Wikipedia. I am sorry for not checking who added the sources to the articles mentioned above and having no idea about paid editing sock farms. Concerning the SEO/PR refs, it is common in Armenian Wikipedia to add sources from news websites, which I think is not in English Wikipedia. Therefore, I assure you that for my next edits and articles, I will try to check as closely as possible before adding them to the article. For one more time, I am trying to tell you that I am not being paid for this article, and just trying to succeed in creating my first article. Thank you so much! I look forward to hearing back from you. All the best, --Gevorg Ghazaryan (talk) 22:28, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Gray and Sons

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Gray and Sons, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
