How South Korea combatted Covid-19 moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, How South Korea combatted Covid-19, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Ways to improve Mobile gaming in South Korea

edit

Hello, FancyONCE,

Thank you for creating Mobile gaming in South Korea.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Inline citations are missing for some prose, and there is a lack of secondary sources cited in the article. These are needed for establishing notability per WP:GNG. This subject is likely notable so please locate and cite these sources. Zindor (talk) 10:36, 5 September 2020 (UTC)

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Zindor}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Mobile gaming in South Korea, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. signed, Rosguill talk 22:13, 27 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

I can see that you are a new editor, but you need to know that Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously. You must not copy and paste text from sources you find on the web into articles as you did in the article Baet Nori. The infringing text has been removed because the material you copied is subject to copyright, as is almost everything on the web. When creating or expanding articles, you should completely rewrite the information from the source using your own words. It is also a copyright violation if you directly translate text from a source in another language. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 15:30, 15 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Religious influence on Korean art

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Religious influence on Korean art requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://asiasociety.org/education/religious-influence-korean-art, https://sites.evergreen.edu/essentialingredients/wp-content/uploads/sites/182/2016/03/korea-tsb1.pdf, and https://www.metmuseum.org/-/media/files/learn/for-educators/publications-for-educators/korea.pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Chilsan sea

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Chilsan sea, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Proposed deletion of Minimalism and its effect on south korea

edit

Hello, FancyONCE

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Bensci54, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Minimalism and its effect on south korea, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Bensci54}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!
