September 2022 edit

  Hello, I'm DaxServer. I noticed that you recently removed content from Kanpur Airport without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 09:10, 27 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

October 2022 edit

  Please do not add or change content, as you did at Faizabad district, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. You cannot just site the front page of the news source. You need to link to the specific article.C.Fred (talk) 02:36, 1 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, I'm Taukeerppw. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Ayodhya have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Don't remove source content and unexplained changes Taukeerppw (talk) 05:02, 25 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Important Notice edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

November 2022 edit

  Hello, I'm Dāsānudāsa. I noticed that you recently removed content from Basti division without adequately explaining why. Thanks. Dāsānudāsa (talk) 15:57, 30 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Just minutes after your removal of sourced content at Basti division was restored by Dāsānudāsa and explained both in their edit summary and here, you doubled down and removed this sourced content again. I have undone your edits and restored this material again. Your edits at the article give the appearance of POV editing, and edit-warring to force your opinion into the article. If you believe this material does not belong in the article, do not remove it again, but instead raise a discussion on the Talk page, and try to achieve consensus for its removal. If you don't understand, or you have any questions about this, feel free to reply below, or to contact me on my Talk page. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 21:31, 3 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

December 2022 edit

  Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Western Express Highway, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 19:25, 3 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Faizabad district, you may be blocked from editing. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 10:33, 4 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Faizabad–Delhi Express edit

I have undone all of your edits at Faizabad–Delhi Express, because they were unsourced edits made solely to promote your own point of view at the article. If you disagree, please raise a discussion at the article Talk page. Thank you. Mathglot (talk) 21:41, 3 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Faizabad Superfast Express edit

I have undone all of your edits at Faizabad Superfast Express, because they are unsourced edits made solely to promote your own point of view at the article. I question why you are editing Wikipedia; is it solely to push your point of view and right great wrongs, as you see it? Please stop your POV-pushing immediately, or you may have your editing privileges suspended. Mathglot (talk) 21:47, 3 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Either I or other editors have removed some or all of your edits at Dhamhar, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar International Sports Stadium, Faizabad Junction railway station, Goshainganj, Gomti River, Kumarganj, Faizabad, Kurebhar, Maya Bazar, Faizabad, Mirzapur division, Rudauli railway station, and Saket Express for various reasons explained in the removal edit summaries, but mostly for being unsourced or WP:POV editing, or both. Mathglot (talk) 22:16, 3 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

WARNING regarding unsourced edits edit

You appear to have a pattern of removing well-sourced material, simply because you don't agree, as shown in the sections above, including your change to Western Express Highway as mentioned here, apparently just because you didn't like it, as well as your change to Basti division, mentioned in November, where you doubled down and removed sourced material again after your questionable edit was undone, and at many other articles. It's hard to find any clearly beneficial and policy/guideline-compliant edits in your edit history, and hard to find any at all that are unrelated to your monomania of "fixing" things that don't need to be fixed regarding place names in northern India, and I question if you are here to improve Wikipedia, or for your own reasons. You should stop and consider what you plan to do going forward at Wikipedia; if it is the same thing as you have been doing so far, you are likely to end up blocked from editing. Mathglot (talk) 22:28, 3 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • You have further changed Faizabad Junction railway station to contradict what the cited sources say. I need to echo what Mathlot just said: Further edits that remove sourced information or change information to make it disagree with the sources will lead to your account being blocked.C.Fred (talk) 14:21, 4 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
  Despite previous warnings, you have changed "Faizabad" to "Ayodhya" at the Allahabad article, in this edit. C.Fred, page history shows that this user has never edited their talk page; tags at the edit I linked above indicate that this user is using a mobile editor, which may make them subject to WP:THEYCANTHEARYOU; see for example, this archived AN thread. Nevertheless, I think this user needs a wake-up call. Mathglot (talk) 11:58, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Stop your rampage against Faizabad edit

  You seem to be hell-bent on purging the city of Faizabad from Wikipedia, all by yourself. I can't keep up, but I've undone the edits you made today, 7 January 2023, from the following articles:

There are dozens of earlier edits prior to 7 January all pushing the same agenda, and it may be necessary to enlist the aid of a bot to remove all of your edits from the encyclopedia. Stop your WP:DISRUPTION immediately. Mathglot (talk) 22:07, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

January 2023 edit

  Hello, I'm Arjayay. I noticed that you recently removed content from Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology without adequately explaining why. Thanks. - Arjayay (talk) 19:53, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
Please stop using false edit summaries - Arjayay (talk) 19:53, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced and disruptive edits undone edit

I've removed 29 of your recent edits to articles about India. They were all unsourced, and fall generally into three categories:

  • unsourced changes to distances between cities, such as this one at Amaniganj, Faizabad
  • addition of the words, "International Airport" to a wikilink of an airport name, even if that is not how the article about it is titled
  • continuing attacks against the name "Faizabad" such as this edit (and numerous others), as previously noted above.

You haven't stopped your one-man operation to wipe out the name "Faizabad", although you have been previously warned about this. Your edits are WP:DISRUPTIVE, and in my opinion, you should be blocked from editing to prevent further damage to the encyclopedia. Please respond. Continuing your current pattern of behavior will very likely lead to you being blocked, or banned from editing certain topics. Mathglot (talk) 05:49, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

February 2023 edit

  Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Ayodhya Airport has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Thank you. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 10:51, 1 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Haiderganj. Such edits are disruptive, and may appear to other editors to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Thank you. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 11:11, 3 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Haiderganj, you may be blocked from editing. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 11:12, 3 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Introduction to contentious topics edit

You have recently been editing India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan which has been designated a contentious topic. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Tendentious editing edit

Hello. Your editing is only ever becoming tendentious and rather burdensome on other editors. This is net negative to the project. If you do not intend to improve any article following the policies and guidelines, I intend to take you to WP:AE sooner or later. Consider this a courtesy note — DaxServer (t · m · c) 21:26, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
