The result of the move request was: Not moved — withdrawn. Sources use both names with a frequency inconclusive for either one; we should probably stick with the first choice. (non-admin closure) —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 05:25, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
Youmi Kimura → Yumi Kimura – Per MOS:JAPANCOM. Reliable English sources that use "Yumi", such as Nausicaa.net and Anime News Network, seem to outnumber the others. "Youmi" — as used on the subject's website, for example — appears to be an unusual and possibly erroneous transliteration of the name. WP:TRANSLITERATE recommends the use of an established romanization, and "弓" would be "Yumi" in Modified Hepburn. —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 05:34, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
- oppose the fact her website uses 'Youmi' suggests this is her preferred transliteration—blindlynx 14:32, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
