Comment edit

As a survivor and participant in the 60’s garage band explosion, I remember “Talk Talk” as one of the standout sounds of the period. I can’t imagine that songs like this and Love’s “Seven and Seven Is” weren’t a great influence on the insipient punk movement. If you had been there, you would realize how different the song was from the usual top 40 drivel. Perhaps it’s just the lack of professionalism that defines the garage sound, (garage band: see Standells) but the vocals are raw the cords “power” and the beat is defiantly “heavy man”.

At least locally there was curiosity about where form and whom, Boston? There were later rumors that the band was the breeding ground for the likes of Sid Vicious or even David Bowie! Ah, the days before the internet!

Legends of the Hidden Temple edit

I realize this is an odd question, but is this group the same "The Music Machine" that composed the background music for the 90s game show Legends of the Hidden Temple? No information on this matter seems to be out there, yet "The Music Machine" is listed under the show's credits, so it leads to quite a bit of confusion among fans. Thanks in advance if you have any information. Nicklegends 00:51, 9 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
