Talk:Ribble Valley line

Latest comment: 8 years ago by Cyberbot II in topic External links modified

This article appears to contradict itself. On the one hand it says that passenger services finish at Clitheroe, then it says that the Dalesrail service runs on from Clitheroe to Hellified.

Article edited for clarity in reference to the above.

Victoria was spelled "Vitctoria", so I had at it. I wonder why there is a discrepancy between the list of stations and the list of towns along the line. Milkbreath 18:37, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Needs expansion and revision

edit

The article needs expanding, for instance by giving some history of the line (when it was built, significant events etc.). It also needs bringing up to date. For example it refers to an event of January 2009 as 'recent' and refers to Gordon Brown as being the British Prime Minister (he's been out of office since May 2010). Finally, it needs its written style changing to make it read less like a news report.

I'll attempt some of the style updates but I don't have the knowledge to add the history. Neiltonks (talk) 11:40, 4 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
