The Mzansi Super League is the continuation of the postponed T20 Global League. As they're the same tournament under different names, the articles should be merged Joseph2302 (talk) 21:01, 18 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

"As they're the same tournament under different names" I don't think that's the case. The first one fell into a hole over money issues, and this seems to be a different brand/tournament that was started after the other one failed. Do you have any sources that specifically state that this is the same tournament? Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 07:20, 19 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hi Lugnuts I've found a few:
  • Support The MSL is quite obviously is a "re-engineered" continuation of the T20SL. Even if it isn't in the strictly legalistic sense, the abortive T20SL is the background of the creation of the MSL and because the T20SL article is (and always will be) a brief stub it makes sense to merge it into the MSL article. Thanks for the links Roger (infact I've just seen the post at WT:CRIC). Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 08:06, 19 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Support I would agree that it is basically the same tournament – both are South Africa's premier T20 tournament sanctioned by Cricket South Africa. Both tournaments have marquee Protea and international players. The only difference I would say is that the T20 Global League had private owners. It would be suggested that the stub for T20 Global League be moved to Mzansi Super League under a new headline with links to the previous eight teams as part of the history and background of the new tournament. • Support so i suggest either delete the t20 global page completely ,because it didn't even take off..!! its dissolved completely .even the owners have moved on .they were reimbursed and moved on,or secondly put a link from this page to direct it to mzanzi super league, this t20 global will never return its over, yes last year was supposed to be first year of south african crickets t20 tournament ,so t20 global league was formed, teams created ,owners came from local and international bought franchise teams, everything seemed ready to take off ,then with a big bang a few weeks or so before tournament was supposed to start .some problems arose at csa.. then whatever happened ,happened ,then this year earlier in year t20 global league was officially scrapped for good ,those teams were dissolved the owners reimbursed eg shah rukh khan one of the owners,,and then a new t20 league was setup called mzanzi super league new teams new owners , as for teams ,two months back was official selection process of players for teams...frd123 (talk) 16:38, 18 November 2018 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Faridmoya (talkcontribs) 15:53, 18 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
