Where to put donations? (Ocober 2019) edit

Hullo fellow Wikipdedians,

The Electoral Commission records regular donations to political parties in the names of Robin Oadley, and variations. [see history for links]

This is obviously relevant to readers, but a wikipedian deleted it with the comment " This non sequitur sentence does not belong in the Personal life section, and should be moved to the right section where its relevance to the article would either become apparent, or could be explained." He did not do the work of moving it, unfortunately, and to move it might suggest motive. For example charity contributions belong in Personal life, I suppose, so that seems the least controversial place to put political contributions.

Nobody wants to want to state the motives of a living political donor; facts are the best thing to state. So can anyone suggest what section this should go in and how it should be put? The relevance to readers' interest of political donors is obvious and I suggest that it should go somewhere on the page.
