Talk:Anyuyskiy

Confused edit

The title is Anyuyskiy Volcano (note capitalised Volcano) although this is never used in the article. The article starts with "Anyuyskiy is a volcano..." but that's followed later by "The Anyuyskiy volcanoes are..." so is it:

  • Anyuyskiy Volcano
  • Anyuyskiy volcano or
  • Anyuyskiy volcanoes?

Different sources use both "volcano" or "volcanoes", presumably the former for the complex as a whole and the latter when referring to the group of individual centres. The singular use is preponderant The current article title does not seem to have a basis in anything that I know and should thus be moved, to Anyuy (volcano) probably. Further confusion edit

The total volume of the lava erupted by the volcano exceeds one cubic kilometre. The volcano was considered to have been active during historical time, but radiometric dating has shown ages of almost 250,000 years ago.

Should that be "exceeded" or is it still erupting? What does "historical time" mean? The Rambling Man (talk) 08:02, 3 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

@The Rambling Man: No longer erupting and specified the time frame. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 15:27, 3 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
