editWhen did Adam Hollioake win Wisden Cricketer of the Year? --BaHaReep 08:24, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
- Wisden Cricketers of the Year says he did in 2003, along with Matthew Hayden, Nasser Hussain, Shaun Pollock and Michael Vaughan. -- ALoan (Talk) 11:10, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for that. --BaHaReep 04:35, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
School in Sydney ?
editThis list says that Adam went to Joeys. But if he moved to England at age 12 and Joeys starts at Year 7 then how would that have worked ? Drop a note on my talk-page if you can shed light.-Sticks66 13:05, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Legal issues
editOK, so I'm led to believe by edit summaries that there are legal issues surrounding the subject of this article, possibly in association with Du'aine Ladejo. Certainly there seem to be all sorts of attack sites over the web which look to my eye to have been set up to push POV. I can only go on what I can find in reliable sources - I know that the Hollioake group was wound up for example - this source and company records confirm that. That seems to confirm some of the details in this report which also states, quite clearly, that Hollioake and Ladejo created Quiet Storm Productions which owned the Greatest Athlete concept - and has various copyrights for it all round the world.
Now, given that there seems to evidence to suggest that what's in the article is correct, I'd ask anyone who wants to contest it to show us why it shouldn't be there please - I get the impression that various legal and personal disputes have spread over from other areas of the web to wikipedia with some evidence of clear attempts to push POV and edit war using the encyclopedia. Partly because of the deliberate misinformation being spread by various parties it seems very difficult to find anything particularly concrete other than the sources I've mentioned above, so I'd appreciate a little help on this one please. Thanks. Blue Square Thing (talk) 20:42, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
- I should add that, given my concerns about this, I've asked for advice and comment at WP:BLPN. Thanks Blue Square Thing (talk) 20:55, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
