The Zachary R. Smith Library

Remember that the AfD pages will appear in a google search, so it's not a good idea to use words like "vanity". Sometimes, the one who put the article up isn't the one concerned, and Wikipedia often receives complaints from people who've had biographies at WP described as "vanity", "self-promotion" e.t.c... when they don't even know how to use the internet. We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles regarding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and intersex people. LGBT Studies covers people, culture, history, and related subjects concerning sexual identity and gender identity - this covers a lot of ground and your help is appreciated! Some points that may be helpful: Our main aim is to help improve articles, so if someone seeks help, please try to assist if you are able. Likewise feel free to ask for help, advice or clarification. Many important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it. If you have another language besides English, please consider adding yourself to our translation section, to help us improve our foreign LGBT topics. The project has several ongoing and developing activities, such as article quality assessment, peer review and a project-wide article collaboration, all of which you are welcome to take part in. We also have a unique program to improve our lower quality articles, Jumpaclass, so please consider signing up there. If you're going to stay awhile, please create a square in our project quilt! Dear sir, I edited to remove vandalism on HollaBack girl. Not to create it. The page said something about the fact that some guy who was seventeen liked some girl. What I had tried to do was remove it. Not create it. So my edit wasn't vandalism, it was actually indeed constructive.

Re: Your report to AIV

Thank you for making a report about Dean11 (talk · contribs · block log) at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators generally only block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet.
