• If your command of a language isn't good enough, don't edit text in that language.
• From what I've seen of your English, it does not warrant the en-4 Babel userbox, "This user speaks English at a near-native level", that you have on your home user page. Your English level appears to be no higher than 2 (intermediate), and quite possibly only 1 (basic).
• So if you edit English text, ask someone whose English is native or at least level 3 for help. In this Wikipedia, the Teahouse question page is a very good place to ask for help.
• That doesn't mean not to do any editing. For instance, if you see a "citation needed" flag on material you know about, and you can supply a citation, then go ahead and do it.
• And whatever editing you do, always explain it in the edit comment area.

About Talmud article

Hello again, if You remember me ? Sorry to disturb you "at home", but I wonder what you say about this lead sentence in the Talmud article. "The term "Talmud" normally refers to the collection of writings named specifically the Babylonian Talmud, although there is also an earlier collection known as the Jerusalem Talmud, or Palestinian Talmud ." I just find it strange if this name actually is used by Jews. If I'm correct so far, then I think "Palestinian Talmud" is an offense and should be erased. But I simply do not know, perhaps you could be kind enough to give me an advice ? I'm of Christian faith myself. But this doesn't rule out an interest of other religions. @Boeing720: Usually called "Jerusalem Talmud". I'm not familiar with "Palestinian Talmud", but I'm not much of a Talmud scholar. I don't think it would be offensive, as it would refer to the Talmud composed in the land of Palestine when we lived there, not to the modern political Palestine. From the article:

The Jerusalem Talmud was compiled in the Land of Israel during the 4th-5th centuries CE, then divided between the Byzantine provinces of Palaestina Prima and Palaestina Secunda. The Jerusalem Talmud is also known as the Palestinian Talmud or Talmud de-Eretz Yisrael (Talmud of the Land of Israel). These latter names are considered more accurate by some because, while the work was certainly composed in "the West" (i.e. the Holy Land), it originates from the Galilee area rather than from Jerusalem.

Have a look at List of people from Pennsylvania. I added "TOC limit|2" template to top and changed sectional toc to "compact TOC" template. That may be what you were looking to achieve. If not, feel free to revert. (Note: The downside to this method is that a sectional "toc" must be adjusted if a section is rebalanced. Sorry. I just undid what i had done. I see that if two sections have exact sub-section heading (e.g., "A–B"), in the second compact toc it links to first (as in, "S–Z" in athletes sub-toc links to "S–Z" of actors). Hi! I've notice your recent posts at the Ursula LeGuin talk page, and wonder if you find the crusty old dregs of unarchived posts confusing. For an instance, the last post by User:Hlnodovic anywhere on Wikipedia.en was more than two years ago. I'm beginning to consider setting up the archievebot for article talke pages like this one else it take on an aspect of speaking 'crosstime. What do you think? And thanks for the work on UR's page. @Thnidu: Sorry for my lack of precision. For 1.—yes I do mean the plural, more than one talk page. For 2.—I failed to specify the problem I saw sufficiently. Setting the auto-archive bot parameters for too long an interval does, in my opinion, increase the risk of attracting long delayed rants (and worse). I think it would be a way of improving the tone of discourse in Wikipedia. On the Stephen King talk page I shortened the auto-archive cycle to archive a BLP violation (my explanation is still on the talk page.)

You are right in removing them. The agitation was handled by two major groups, Sardar Seva Dal of Lalji and SPG of Hardik. But there were many smaller groups involved. They collectively handled the agitation. So it is OK to not mention that smaller groups as two major are already mentioned. I think I may find some refs for them but they are too many to add here. So should we add??

@Nizil Shah: Wait, now I'm really confused. Are Sardar Patel Seva Dal, Patidar Sankalan Samiti, Patidar Arakshan Samiti and Sardar Sena people or groups? At least for a non-Indian who can't tell from a name whether it refers to a person, an organization, a place, or something else, "Sardar Patel Group (SPG), headed by Lalji Patel, Sardar Patel Seva Dal, Patidar Sankalan Samiti, Patidar Arakshan Samiti and Sardar Sena" looks like the name of one group, "Sardar Patel Group (SPG)", followed by the names of five people who head it. And what about Sardar Patel Sevadal? Or is that just another spelling of Sardar Patel Seva Dal?

Sardar Patel Seva Dal, Patidar Sankalan Samiti, Patidar Arakshan Samiti and Sardar Sena are four different groups. SPG is an another group to headed by Lalji Patel. PAAS is headed by Hardik Patel. Sardar Patel Sevadal/Seva Dal are same. I think these all group names are not needed in article. SPG and PAAS are two major and main groups. Several other communities' leaders also started agitation demanding reservation along similar lines including Brahmin, Thakore, Vaishnava, Rajput, Sindhi, Kansara, Soni and Raghuvanshi communities in Gujarat.

I've generally been linking names of ethnic/social/caste/etc. groups, because they are unfamiliar to most non-Indians. In this sentence, "Kansara" has no article, but I'm redlinking it as a candidate. Does "Soni" belong in this list at all? It has a very small article, created as a stub nine years ago by an author who came close to being blocked and who hasn't contributed since the end of 2007.

Kansara should be redlinked. It is a caste of bell-makers and utnsil-makers. Soni is a caste historically associated with jewellary making and many are still in business. You may link it with Soni (caste).

Kansara live mostly in Gujarat. Every caste has associated castes which are in related historically or in same profession. See infobox. Tambat is caste associated by similar profession.-Nizil (talk) 18:45, 16 August 2016 (UTC)
