May 2015 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Action Jackson (2014 film), but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, and ideas—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. personal view C E (talk) 18:52, 4 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Speedy deletion nomination of File:15102316271934 -Sahasam poster.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:15102316271934 -Sahasam poster.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File permission problem with File:Saahasam poster.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Saahasam poster.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 15:45, 3 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Prashanth is Saahasam still.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Prashanth is Saahasam still.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Re: Warning edit

I'm very sorry about that overly harsh warning. I undid your edit because you hadn't properly uploaded the image; you had included a link to an image that did not exist. Because you had previously been given a level 3 warning for vandalism (a warning that also seems unnecessarily harsh), Huggle automatically gave you a level 4 warning template. I didn't intend that, by any means. The typical template left for editing tests just points you nicely to the Sandbox, which is a good place to test if your edits are working properly if you're doing something you're unfamiliar with, like uploading an image for the first time. Again, my apologies. Let me know if you need any help getting your image working. ~ RobTalk 22:56, 14 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Thullal (film). Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Diffs: [2] In addition to being unsourced, you are introducing subjective hyperbole into the article. There is no such thing as "unanimously poor reviews" and such phrasing is shunned by WikiProject Film. You'd basically have to prove that *nobody* said anything positive, and that's virtually impossible because you're be trying to prove a negative. The other aspects of the analysis are unsourced. Our personal opinions, observations and analyses don't belong in articles, as theyc constitute original research. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:55, 2 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Friend Request In Facebook moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Friend Request In Facebook, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 07:21, 18 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

August 2018 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Nanban (2012 film), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Diff: [3] In this edit you removed sourced content attributed to Firstpost, that described the film as breaking even. You then replaced the sourced content with your own analysis, which described the film as a success. This is indistinguishable from vandalism. From my perspective you have a history of adding questionable and puffed-up content. We're not here to add our personal opinions or to promote article subjects. Don't do this again please. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:32, 7 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Same with this content:
  • "Huge success" is not proper encyclopedic tone, and the rest of the content is unsourced. (Don't know why we need the giant list of actors either.) You also malformed the [[Dilwale (2015 film)]] wikilink. It should be ''[[Dilwale (2015 film)|Diwale]]'']], and we don't need a wikilink for "400". Nobody's going to wonder what 400 is. It's a number.
  • Here you change genres without providing references. This is not helpful, as genres are subjective, and we're not interested in people's opinions. We should be sticking with one genre, not chaining together three genres. See MOS:FILM instructions. Also, we should be going by what the majority of sources say. So unless you can prove that a variety of sources call it a "psychological heist thriller", you shouldn't be making the change.
I'm sure there are other issues with some of your recent edits, but I don't have the time or inclination to dig through them. Please edit with integrity and please don't make changes without providing references. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:02, 7 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
