+1, take care of yourself out there RV. Nole (chat·edits) 03:29, 8 July 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for the messages Nolelover and Gerda Arendt! Long time no see! Things are going well for me. Just a bit busy for Wiki. I've considered returning to correct the abysmal state of a lack of articles for National Pro Fastpitch and their players. I need to take a look at the notability guidelines for professional fastpitch players though. These girls are at the top level of their sport, so if they're not all eligible for articles based on playing for an NPF team, I don't know that I'll take the time to figure out who is notable and who isn't. Ryan Vesey 00:19, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
Always good to have a pet project. Let me know if you ever do! I'd be happy to have a reason to read more about fastpitch. Nole (chat·edits) 23:59, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

A pagemove back in 2012Edit

Hi Ryan. This is a long-shot, but do you remember the circumstances around the DNA helix -> Non-helical DNA structure pagemove? I'm looking at the page (now called Obsolete models of DNA structure) as part of looking at fringe & pseudoscience more broadly. Happy for you to email if not appropriate to comment on-wiki!

T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)talk 06:36, 16 July 2021 (UTC)

I'm a bit late on this, but I can't remember too much, beyond the fact that it says "per IRC request". It seems likely that someone was requesting the page be moved and based on the content of the article, explaining that the topic was Non-helical DNA structure, I must have felt like that was a reasonable request vs. calling the article DNA helix. Ryan Vesey 22:11, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

You've been unsubscribed from the Feedback Request ServiceEdit

Hi Ryan Vesey! You're receiving this notification because you were previously subscribed to the Feedback Request Service, but you haven't made any edits to the English Wikipedia in over six months.

In order to declutter the Feedback Request Service list, and to produce a greater chance of active users being randomly selected to receive invitations to contribute, you've been unsubscribed, along with all other users who have made no edits in six months.

You do not need to do anything about this - if you are happy to not receive Feedback Request Service messages, thank you very much for your contributions in the past, and this will be the last you hear from the service. If, however, you would like to resubscribe yourself, you can follow the below instructions to do so:

  1. Go to the Feedback Request Service page.
  2. Decide which categories are of interest to you, under the RfC and/or GA headings.
  3. Paste {{Frs user|Ryan Vesey|limit}} underneath the relevant heading(s), where limit is the maximum number of requests you wish to receive for that category per month.
  4. Publish the page.

If you've just come back after a wikibreak and are seeing this message, welcome back! You can follow the above instructions to re-activate your subscription. Likewise, if this is an alternate account, please consider subscribing your main account in much the same way.

Note that if you had a rename and left your old name subscribed to the FRS, you may be receiving this message on your new username's talk page still. If so, make sure your new account name is subscribed to the FRS, using the same procedure mentioned above.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the Feedback Request Service talk page, or on the Feedback Request Service bot's operator's talk page. Thank you! Message delivered to you with love by Yapperbot :) | Is this wrong? Contact my bot operator. | Sent at 18:15, 4 April 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:All articles with too many wikilinksEdit

A tag has been placed on Category:All articles with too many wikilinks indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read!
