Ah. I think I had done some minor work on that article more than seven years ago (assuming based on the talkpage post). Most of the work was done by User:Hurricanehink (and many other editors). For the 1955 tornado, have a look at 1955 Great Plains tornado outbreak.

I'm still working on those articles, there is no need to pull strings on unrelated subjects (i.e. my access to admin tools), as you seem to have been doing so with many other volunteers. While I do personally admire your work here on Wikipedia, I am well aware of the number of times you personally offended many other users. You are not only creating an extremely unfriendly environment here, but is also severely damaging the chances of the community growing in a friendly manner.

I know users who were extremely demotivated and reduced contributions thanks to your taunting such as above, including at lease one who vanished directly or indirectly due to your actions. I will tell this clearly and directly: If you continue this behaviour, either I or another admin will not hesitate to ban you from the community. I hope you understand. As the article stands it currently fails WP:NCOMPANY, simply because there is no evidence of significant coverage in multiple independent, reliable secondary sources. If there are no secondary sources added then I will be putting it up for an AfD, on this basis. It should be noted that the school was determined as not being notable. Given both our long standing involvement on Sri Lankan articles I am happy to let the matter lie for a week however if there are reliable secondary sources provided I'll reconsider my position. I noticed you added an image of the fireball's smoke trail to the Kamchatka superbolide. Are you sure it isn't copyrighted? in my experience many of these japanese governmental research images are copyrighted. Hello exoplanetaryscience. I initially though it was copyrighted, until I saw this template and this category. And since the video you linked is actually made up of a series of pictures from the same source, I think it may be alright. And speaking of videos, I was scouring through the Himawari8 full-globe video archives dating the bolide moment and almost threw my laptop with sheer excitement when I was saw a massive orange blob pop and disappear within a second, almost exactly at the same position of the bolide, very close to the actual time of atmospheric entry. I just want to warn you to not throw your laptop (because it's obviously not what we think it is). Administrator account security (Correction to Arbcom 2019 special circular)

ArbCom would like to apologise and correct our previous mass message in light of the response from the community.

Since November 2018, six administrator accounts have been compromised and temporarily desysopped. In an effort to help improve account security, our intention was to remind administrators of existing policies on account security — that they are required to "have strong passwords and follow appropriate personal security practices." We have updated our procedures to ensure that we enforce these policies more strictly in the future. The policies themselves have not changed. In particular, two-factor authentication remains an optional means of adding extra security to your account. The choice not to enable 2FA will not be considered when deciding to restore sysop privileges to administrator accounts that were compromised.

We are sorry for the wording of our previous message, which did not accurately convey this, and deeply regret the tone in which it was delivered.
