Look, everyone was fine with the wikipage and it get a lot of visitors just because the collection of classical architects. The page is relativly new and under construction. Let it be and let it be used as a directory. Gradualy it will evolve but removing what brings traffic to it is a very bad idea.

I would like to delete the article I began on Glick's organization, Temple Mount Heritage Foundation. There is simply not sufficient coverage of it independent of the man. A redirect to Yehuda Glick would be useful, but I don't know how to do that.

On the other hand, there is a great deal of material on Glick , his activities, positions, arrests, etc. enough for a page. And the assassination attempt is a story in its own right. Part of a increasing drumbeat of violent attacks in recent weeks that are being called a Silent intifada. And it has already caused authorities to lock down the city with roadblocks searching for the assassin, led to the closure of the Temple Mount tomorrow along with calls for massive marches to the Temple Mount at dawn. I think it is more useful to reinstate the article on the Assassination and build 2 articles. Do merge the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation into Yehuda Glick when you have a moment.ShulMaven (talk) 00:25, 30 October 2014 (UTC)

Let's wait a few weeks to see what any impact of the attack will be. It is difficult to justify a separate article on his assassination attempt when his own article is so small, such an argument would then made that he is more notable for that event. • Well, it hasn't taken long for problems to arise from having merges the article about the assassination into the article about the man. The man, according to news reports, is recovering. Problem is that, as I feared, the material about the consequences of the assassination attempt threatens to overwhelm the article about the man. Which, to me, seems unfair to the man. I did attempt to contain the growing domination of the article by assassination-related material by moving some material to an article about tensions in Jerusalem (Silent intifada) but the assassination section continues to grow, today's news cycle has a controversy swirling around Abu Mazen's response to the assassination which someone has already added. In addition, an editor has just removed relevant categories on grounds that : "article about person, not an event". I think it would be simpler to follow the model of articles like Gabrielle Giffords and have a separate article for the assassination attempt.

Cool. So to answer your question, we have Category:Monegasque people, and I think that is better than a list. You're also welcome to create a page about the royal weddings, as there are similar pages for the British royal family--personally, I don't find royalty interesting. However, I am very interested in expanding the Wikipedia coverage of business magnates from Monaco as well as the main streets and buildings. Do you know much about the Pastors? I am especially looking for Jean-Baptiste Pastor's birth and death dates right now, because apparently he moved to Monaco in the 1880s to build the Saint-Charles Church, Monaco, then started J.B. Pastor et fils in 1920. What did he do in the mean time? Did he build more buildings? Then his son Gildo Pastor purchased much of the land of the Larvotto district, which led to the construction of buildings from 1966 onwards. What I am iffy about is, when did JB Pastor die and his son Gildo take over? I have read that one of them built the water infrastructure of Monaco during WWII, supposedly Gildo, but I am not sure (the article from L'express is vague). There are a lot of unknowns, in other words. Are you able to help with this please? I would add that the French Wikipedia has a page about Gildo, but it lacks clear in-line references.Zigzig20s (talk) 04:17, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

Category keys on Listed Building articles

Hi Gareth. I'm not sure what you're trying to do with your changes to the category keys to Grade I and II* listed buildings in Barnet, Grade I and II* listed buildings in Barking and Dagenham, Grade I and II* listed buildings in Bexley and Grade I and II* listed buildings in Bromley but the result is that they're now indexed separately from and differently to all the other articles in Category:Lists of listed buildings in England, Category:Grade I listed buildings in London and Category:Grade II* listed buildings in London. Sorry...I should have left a note! I have always preferred the lists to be listed in the category so they are distinct from the buildings themselves. I see your point. If you're planning to do the same for all the Listed Building lists for all the boroughs in London, I guess that's OK (though in the interim it leaves Category:Grade I listed buildings in London and Category:Grade II* listed buildings in London looking rather muddled, and the mix of "Grade I listed buildings in..." and "Grade I and II* listed buildings in..." articles puts rather a spanner in the works; they'll still be in a less-than-ideal order even when they're all done). Either way, I don't think it makes sense for Category:Lists of listed buildings in England, which contains no individual buildings, nor ever should have. If you don't mind, I'll revert to the DEFAULTSORT for that category. To declare my interest, I'm gradually working my way through the articles in that list, in alphabetical order, populating them with photos and generally tidying up. His name was Frank actually: Frank Moss Bennett. Someone's on Twitter, but the 'E' is a mystery. Dear Gareth E Kegg, as I already mentioned, I am SO glad that my old research can be of some use. Originally, I wanted to translate the thesis and publish it in the UK but never got round to trying… My mother lives in Wales and I often stop off at Castell Coch on the way to see her - that's the closest I get to Burges these days. I don't know where the stash of research documents concerning the Tower House has got to but I fortunately still have a copy of the thesis.
