Stent page edit

Hi there, I saw your username on the medicine portal. I noticed that the stent wikipage is lacking, especially considering the importance of stents in cardiology. Then I noticed that the article was listed as "low importance" on the medicine importance scale. I couldn't find a spot to nominate it for higher importance, but there is no way that this article should be of low importance. Let me know what you think. 65.209.6.2 (talk) 20:57, 30 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Cancer Research Institute Article edit

Hello, I am contacting you in regards to the creation of an article for the Cancer Research Institute. It seems from your edit history and your user page that this article may be of interest to you. If not, could you please recommend any users you may know that might be interested?

The Cancer Research Institute is a non-profit dedicated to research in cancer immunology. We believe we should have an article as there are many other Wikipedia articles that mention us, yet we have no article of our own. We were founded on the premises of Dr. William B. Coley's work, have a close relationship with the Ludwig Institute, and relationships with many acclaimed scientists and institutions. In partnership with the Ludwig, we run the Cancer Vaccine Collaborative and Cancer Vaccine Consortium, programs that aim to create a strong network of clinical investigators and cancer vaccine trials worldwide to effectively immunize against cancer. The ultimate goal will be the development of therapeutic cancer vaccines. Please help us create this article, as we would like to remain neutral. Please contact me with you interest and/or for help in finding references, photos, etc. Thank you for your time and consideration, kfowler@cancerresearch.org--CancerResearchInstitute (talk) 15:05, 16 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Medicine Featured Topic Task Force proposal edit

Hey NCurse, I've just set up a proposal for a new task force in the WikiProject Medicine called FTTF, or the Featured Topic Task Force. We aim to create a featured topic for medicine, most likely to do with an infectious disease of some form (the proposals so far include polio and bacterial infections in general) and become the first medical featured topic. The proposal can be found here and further discussion can be found at the bottom of the WikiProject Medicine talk page. I've very much appreciate your comments and possibly support of such a proposal, if you'd be willing to take part! —CyclonenimT@lk? 13:38, 19 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reassessment of Asherman's syndrome page due to vandalism edit

Hi, I've written most of the Asherman's syndrome wikipedia content and have added 31 references from peer-reviewed medical journal articles to support my citations. Although the page is not totally 'complete' and I plan to add some more details, it is at least 90% complete and has an excellent reference list. However, I noticed that on October 24th, a user (IP address) removed all of the references. Spencer made note of this in the usertalk of that person. I noticed that the page was assessed as "start" level. I can only assume this rating was given because ALL of the references had been removed. It appears that the removal of the references was a deliberate act of vandalism in order to give the page a low assessment. This is extemely unfair and the page should be reassessed by the assessment committee with all of its 31 references. I hold a PhD in Life Sciences by the way.

I look forward to your response.

Thank you.

Proposed deletion of Blog rally edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Blog rally, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

WP:NN neologism. While used in a couple of articles, not clear that it meets guideline.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Editing Watchout! Theres Ghosts edit

I removed the db-band tag from Watchout! Theres Ghosts, see Talk:Watchout! Theres Ghosts for discussion. It was a marginal call.

You deleted it this morning for A7.

Consider restoring it and, if you feel it deserves to go, sending it to AFD. If nominated today, it would probably go down but it wouldn't be a snow-job and the resulting discussion would be valuable. If you waited until mid-February it would probably survive. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 16:52, 26 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Text of my explanation on the talk page:
Speedy delete tag declined
Inhumer (talk · contribs) tagged this for speedy deletion as {{db-band}}. I removed the tag on the grounds that the band is on a national label. I'm also declining it on the grounds that if this were to go to AFD it would likely have at least some support, and if an AFD were to happen 2 months from now the article would likely survive. Yes, I know this is crystal-balling and the proper thing would probably be to take it to AFD now, let the article die, then re-create it after their debut album is released and their national tour starts in February. I considered putting that tour on the article but it seemed to WP:CRYSTAL-ish, even though the dates are on the MySpace page. Tours get canceled. In the interest of not making a WP:POINT, I'm not going to AFD this until after the tour starts, if then. If anyone else wants to AFD it go ahead, it will probably get deleted but not without a fight. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 03:18, 25 December 2008 (UTC)}}

Urbach–Wiethe disease GA edit

Hi NCurse, I noticed that the review of Urbach–Wiethe disease has been outstanding for over a month now. I just wanted to let you know, you probably won't ever be able to get in touch with the article's main writer (this article was the only thing he ever did on Wikipedia, and he stopped editing right after that and hasn't been back in two months—apparently he had to do the article for a class project), so there's probably not much point waiting, unless you think there is someone else who's willing to adopt the article and address your concerns. (I can't adopt it, it's not really something I know anything about; I just nominated it because I thought it was well-done.) If there's no one who will do it, it might be time to just close the review on account of there being no one willing to fix the last minor issues. GA Sweeps invitation edit

Hello, I hope you are doing well. I am sending you this message since you are a member of the GA WikiProject. I would like to invite you to consider helping with the GA sweeps process. Sweeps helps to ensure that the oldest GAs still meet the criteria, and improve the quality of GAs overall. Unfortunately, last month only two articles were reviewed. This is definitely a low point after our peak at the beginning of the process when 163 articles were reviewed in September 2007. After nearly two years, the running total has just passed the 50% mark. In order to expediate the reviewing, several changes have been made to the process. A new worklist has been created, detailing which articles are left to review. All exempt and previously reviewed articles have already been removed from the list. Instead of reviewing by topic, you can consider picking and choosing whichever articles interest you.

We are always looking for new members to assist with the remaining articles, so if you are interested or know of anybody that can assist, please visit the GA sweeps page. In addition, for every member that reviews 100 articles or has a significant impact on the process, s/he will get an award when they reach that threshold. If only 14 editors achieve this feat starting now, we would be done with Sweeps! Of course, having more people reviewing less articles would be better for all involved, so please consider asking others to help out. Feel free to stop by and only review a few articles, something's better than nothing! Take a look at the list, and see what articles interest you. Let's work to complete Sweeps so that efforts can be fully focused on the backlog at GAN. If you have any questions about the process, reviewing, or need help with a particular article, please contact me or OhanaUnited and we'll be happy to help. --Happy editing! GA Sweeps June update edit

Thanks to everyone's dedicated efforts to the GA Sweeps process, a total of 396 articles were swept in May! That more than doubles our most successful month of 163 swept articles in September 2007 (and the 2 articles swept in April)! I plan to be sending out updates at the beginning of each month detailing any changes, updates, or other news until Sweeps are completed. So if you get sick of me, keep reviewing articles so we can be done (and then maybe you'll just occasionally bump into me). We are currently over 60% done with Sweeps, with just over a 1,000 articles left to review. With over 40 members, that averages out to about 24 articles per person. If each member reviews an article a day this month (or several!), we'll be completely finished. I know that may be asking for a lot, but it would allow us to complete Sweeps and allow you to spend more time writing GAs, reviewing GANs, or focusing on other GARs (or whatever else it is you do to improve Wikipedia) as well as finish ahead of the two-year mark coming up in August. I recognize that this can be a difficult process at times and appreciate your tenacity in spending time in ensuring the quality of the older GAs. Feel free to recruit other editors who have reviewed GANs in the past and might be interested in the process. The more editors, the less the workload, and hopefully the faster this will be completed. If you have any questions about reviews or the process let me know and I'll be happy to get back to you. Again, thank you for taking the time to help with the process, I appreciate your efforts! --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 18:11, 1 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

GA Sweeps July update edit

Thanks to everyone's dedicated efforts to the GA Sweeps process, a total of 290 articles were swept in June! Last month was our second most successful month in reviewing articles (after May). We are currently over 70% done with Sweeps, with just under 800 articles left to review. With nearly 50 members, that averages out to about 15 articles per person. If each member reviews an article every other day this month (or several!), we'll be completely finished. This may sound difficult, but if everyone completes their reviews, Sweeps would be completed in less than two years when we first started (with only four members!). With the conclusion of Sweeps, each editor could spend more time writing GAs, reviewing at the backlogged GAN, or focusing on other GARs. Again, I want to thank you for using your time to ensure the quality of the older GAs. Feel free to recruit other editors who have reviewed GANs in the past and might be interested in the process. The more editors, the less the workload, and hopefully the faster this will be completed. If you have any questions about reviews or the process let me know and I'll be happy to get back to you. If each member reviews an article every other day this month (or several!), we'll be completely finished. Again, I want to thank you for using your time to ensure the quality of the older GAs. Feel free to recruit other editors who have reviewed GANs in the past and might be interested in the process. The more editors, the less the workload, and hopefully the faster this will be completed. GA Sweeps update edit

Thanks to everyone's efforts to the GA Sweeps process, we are currently over 90% done with only 226 articles remain to be swept! As always, I want to thank you for using your time to ensure the quality of the older GAs. With over 50 members participating in Sweeps, that averages out to about 4 articles per person! If each member reviews an article once a week this month (or several!), we'll be completely finished. At that point, awards will be handed out to reviewers. As an added incentive, if we complete over 100 articles reviewed this month, I will donate $100 to Wikipedia Forever on behalf of all GA Sweeps participants. I hope that this incentive will help to increase our motivation for completing Sweeps while supporting Wikipedia in the process. If you have any questions about reviews or Sweeps let me know and I'll be happy to get back to you. Again, thank you for taking the time to help with the process, I appreciate your efforts! --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 00:13, 2 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

February GA Sweeps update edit

Progress as of January 2010

Thanks to everyone's efforts to the GA Sweeps process, we are currently over 95% done with around 130 articles left to be swept! Currently there are over 50 members participating in Sweeps, that averages out to about 3 articles per person! If each member reviews an article once a week this month (or several!), we'll be completely finished. At that point, awards will be handed out to reviewers. Per my message last month, although we did not review 100 articles last month, I still made a donation of $90 (we had 90 reviews completed/initiated) to Wikipedia Forever on behalf of all GA Sweeps reviewers. I would like to thank everyone's efforts for last month, and ask for additional effort this month so we can be finished. I know you have to be sick of seeing these updates (as well as Sweeps itself) by now, so please do consider reviewing a few articles if you haven't reviewed in a while. If you have any questions about reviews or Sweeps let me know and I'll be happy to get back to you. Again, thank you for taking the time to help with the process, I appreciate your efforts! --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talkcontrib) 02:41, 7 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Viraemia edit

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Viraemia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. B.Wind (talk) 07:40, 27 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

GA Sweeps Completed! edit

Thanks to everyone's amazing efforts in February, we have reviewed all of the articles and are now finished with Sweeps! There are still about 30 articles currently on hold, and once those reviews are completed, I will send you a final message about Sweeps process stats including the total number of articles that were passed and failed. If you have one of these open reviews, be sure to update your count when the review is completed so I can compile the stats. You can except to receive your award for reviewing within the next week or two. Although the majority of the editors did not start Sweeps at the beginning in August 2007 (myself included), over 50 editors have all come together to complete a monumental task and improve many articles in the process. I commend you for sticking with this often challenging task and strengthening the integrity of the GA WikiProject as well as the GAs themselves. I invite you to take a break from reviewing (don't want you to burn out!) and then consider returning/starting to review GANs and/or contribute to GAR reviews. With your assistance, we can help bring the backlog down to a manageable level and help inspire more editors to improve articles to higher classes and consider reviewing themselves. Again, thank you for putting up with difficult reviews, unhappy editors, numerous spam messages from me, and taking the time to help with the process, I appreciate your efforts! --Happy editing! Admin Coaching: Reconfirmation edit

I was looking through the coaches at Wikipedia:Admin_coaching/Status and saw that there are a lot under "reconfirmation".

Could you let me know if you are still interesting in being involved with Admin Coaching, or if you would prefer to have your name removed from the "reconfirmation" list. If you want to be involved, could you please move your entry from "Reconfirmation" to "Active" and indicate how many students you would be willing to have (obviously, if you are actively coaching at the moment, then please indicate this!)

If I do not hear from you within a week, I will assume that you would like to have your name removed from the list of coaches.

On October 16, 2006, you deleted the article Radio Frequency Quadrupole. A humble request edit

Hi! I'm not sure whether you're involved in WP "politics" (i.e. CU/SPI filings, blocking of users etc.) or do article deletions only, but I hoped that maybe you could lend me a helping hand in an issue I'm having. My problems began a little bit more than a week ago when I've added a new section to the Hungary-Slovakia relations about the history of Hungarians in Czechoslovakia after 1920. Unfortunately everything I've added was removed by User:Iaaasi (a Romanian editor and puppet master) on sight. I've added another part of the section a bit later, then Iaaasi has removed both of my edits immediately arguing (on my personal talk page, not the article's) that the content has nothing to do with the whole topic of the article. He proceeded to even threaten me with reporting, should I continue undoing his deletion. That was when I've decided to call it a day and took a break from editing on WP (I didn't make any additional edits that day). Later on I've seen that a new user, User:Koalicio has sprung up and reinserted the section in question. Then the following day I've checked the article's edit history again and it turned out that Iaaasi has engaged into an edit war with Koalicio. Iaaasi has also flagged his move of removing the section above a "minor edit" and in the edit summary he was referring to my addition (reinserted by Koalicio) as "vandalism". I was about to report Iaaasi for edit warring, when I've noticed that User:Nmate has already done that. Iaaasi has later had his permban reinstated for this edit war.
Just about the same time an SPI was started by User:Diannaa against my account with the assertion that Koalicio is a sockpuppet of mine (she has also quoted the fact that I've reported Iaaasi for edit warring with Koalicio as evidence, even though Iaaasi was reported by Nmate). Unfortunately I wasn't notified of this SPI at all, and I only got notice of it WAY after it's been finished (from the fact that Iaaasi was boasting about it on his talk page). The result has turned out to be negative though. About 6-7 hours later however in came HelloAnnyong, took a look at the SPI and concluded that Koalicio might be my meatpuppet and blocked him. That was when I've confronted him about this, citing the fact that he had absolutely NO evidence of Koalicio being a meatpuppet of mine. He refused my request of having Koalicio unblocked on the grounds that he took part in the edit war that led to the indef ban of Iaaasi which's been purportedly started by myself, the fact that I'm "protective" of him and the fact that the content restored by Koalicio was identical to the one added by myself. So I've tried to disprove these accusations and pointed out that the proofs presented are really weak as well, but he didn't bother with a reply. I gave the dispute resolution another try with dropping another note on his talk page a few days ago, but he didn't reply to that one either. So I've tried to find an admin that hasn't been involved in sanctions against Iaaasi and any other events in connection with this issue either, so that he can remain as neutral as possible.
Please don't get me wrong, it's not that I need/have to have Koalicio unblocked at all costs. My problem's rather the fact that the SPI and blockage of Koalicio with the notice that he's a meatpuppet of mine is quite derogatory of not only him, but me as well. I feel a bit like I've been accused of something without proof and without a possibility of a due process. Since I still hope that WP is a democratic community which doesn't tolerate extortion/blackmailing/personal revenge especially against innocent editors, I hope that maybe you could help me. It's been asserted by HelloAnnyong (and Diannaa as well) that Koalicio's only edits were the edit warring at the Hungary-Slovakia relations article, which isn't true. He has also edited articles Debrecen and Austria-Hungary (I've never edited any of them, at least definitely not in the past 2-3 years), which shows that he hasn't created this account for the sole purpose of edit warring only, but he has obviously intended to make some useful edits as well. This is not to say that he should be unblocked no matter what. Currently though Koalicio's only "sin" seems to be the fact that he (as a new user) has engaged in a single edit war with Iaaasi (who's notorious for ignoring others' arguments) and was blocked immediately after that without a single warning (which's definitely NOT what a due process looks like). I wouldn't want that to happen to me either for that matter. CoolKoon (talk) 19:38, 4 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Alex picture-1a.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading File:Alex picture-1a.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Magog the Ogre (talk) 20:59, 19 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Why did you revert my edit on the melanoma page edit

Why did you revert my comment about the high incidence of melanoma in southern italy. Dammit, that is what it is and I have the tickets to Italy (where I attend international melanoma conferences) to prove it. Also, there is not a particularly high incidence of melanoma in "Northern Europe". What there is is a high incidence in areas of historical migration of northern europeans into southern climes. Classic example is Sicily, with its large Norman component to the gene pool. I note you have had various conflicts with other experts on melanoma before. And yes, I know experts don't count for much here, except we know the literature. Drjames1 (talk) 20:34, 29 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

I take it back. With apologies. Upon checking,--the increasing incidence of melanoma seen with decreasing latitude seen in European immigrant lands such as Australia and Texas is not seen in Europe itself, at least not lately. Just the opposite, in fact. Arguable reason is that in Europe populations haven't moved around as much. So the north-south susceptibility gradient holds better. Webicina on Health 2.0 edit

Hi there, I noticed you added a link to Webicina on the Health 2.0 article. Given that Webicina is a commercial company I'm not confident that this link belongs in the external links section given several of the WP:EL guidelines including:

  • Very large pages, such as pages containing rich media files, should be considered on a case-by-case basis. Worldwide, many use Wikipedia with a low-speed connection. Unusually large pages should be annotated as such.
  • Direct links to documents that require external applications or plugins (such as Flash or Java) to view the content, unless the article is about such file formats. See rich media for more details.
  • Sites that are only indirectly related to the article's subject: the link should be directly related to the subject of the article. A general site that has information about a variety of subjects should usually not be linked to from an article on a more specific subject. Similarly, a website on a specific subject should usually not be linked from an article about a general subject. If a section of a general website is devoted to the subject of the article, and meets the other criteria for linking, then that part of the site could be deep linked.

I may be mis-reading it though so if you'd like to invite other editors please feel free on the talk page? Cheers, --PaulWicks (talk) 12:11, 12 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi!

My name is Victor and I'm a storyteller with the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit organization that supports Wikipedia. I'm chronicling the inspiring stories of the Wikipedia community around the world, including those from readers, editors, and donors. Stories are absolutely essential for any non-profit to persuade people to support the cause, and we know the vast network of people who make and use Wikipedia have so much to share. I found your username from the Highbeam application list.

I'd very much like the opportunity to interview you to tell your story, with the possibility of using it in our materials, on our community websites, or as part of this year’s fundraiser to encourage others to support Wikipedia. Please let me know if you're inclined to take part in the Wikipedia Stories Project, or if you know anyone with whom I should speak.

Question regarding the medicine Article: Eschar edit

Hello NCurse,

as stated in the headline I have a Question regarding the medical Article Eschar. I am slightly confused by the image included in the Article. The caption states the wound in question to be covered by an Eschar (scab). Searching for scab though leads nowhere near the Article in question. This leads me to the following I would like to inquire: Is the object in the picture a wound covered in an Eschar or in a scab? (Especially since the term "black wound" redicrect to Eschar and the picture shows no such thing.) If it is the latter, the picture would have to be removed. The former leads to the second question. Are scab and eschar synonyms? If yes it would follow that appropriate consequences be taken in the article scab. If not, the word would have to be removed from the question.

I sinccerely appreciate your input and would like to thank you for your time.

NCurse work 05:39, 27 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Telefonon szoktam netezni...

Request for your assistance for The Wikipedia Library edit

Hi! You signed up to be a helper at the Highbeam project page. As The Wikipedia Library expands, I am seeking some assistants who can collaborate on project administration by spending a few hours now and then working on a variety of tasks.

Right now I am looking for help on the Questia round 1 signups, reviewing editors' applications to check for edit count (1000), account history (1 year), and current blocks. Note, there is no subjective judgment required, just a factual criteria-check. Here's what you can do:

  1. Sign up for a section of 50 applications at this page
  2. The first check involves using Popups (enabled in Special:Preferences -> click "Gadgets", check the box to enable Popups, then click save).
  3. By hovering over a username on the applications list, Popups will show the edit count, age of account, and whether the editor is blocked on English Wikipedia
  4. If an editor is blocked, list their name at this page
  5. If an editor does not meet the 1-year/1000 editor check using Popups, open their user talk page in a new tab in your browser.
  6. Then, you then need to check if the editor meets the criteria on another Wikipedia language project.
  7. To check global contributions use the Global Contributions surveyor] on toolserver.
  8. Toolserver is a bit slow so I find it helpful to have 3 tabs running simultaneously.
  9. Scroll down to the bottom of the toolserver results to see if 1000 edits or 1-year age of accounted are met at another project. You can also see if the editor is blocked on another project.
  10. If neither Popups nor the Global Contribution Surveyor met the criteria, then list their name at [less than 1000 edits, or less than 1 year old account|this page]
  11. Mark your section {{done}} at this page

WikiProject Good articles (Participant Clean-Up) edit

Hello, you are receiving this message because you are currently a participant of WikiProject Good articles. Since the creation of the WikiProject, over 200 user's have joined to help review good article nominations and contribute to other sections of the WikiProject. Over the years, several of these users have stopped reviewing articles and/or have become inactive with the project but are still listed as participates. In order to improve communications with other participants and get newsletters sent out faster (newsletters will begin to be sent out monthly starting in October) all participants that are no longer active with the WikiProject will be removed from the participants list.

If you are still interested in being a participant for this WikiProject, please sign your user name here and please help review some articles so we can reduce the size of the backlog. If you are no longer interested, you do not need to sign your name anywhere and your name will be removed from the participants list after the deadline. Remember that even if you are not interested at this time, you can always re-add your name to the list whenever you want. The deadline to sign your name on the page above will be November 1, 2012. Thank-you. 13:31, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

Update for: WikiProject Good articles (Participant Clean-Up) edit

Sorry for having to send out a second message but a user has brought to my attention that a point mentioned in the first message should be clarified. If user's don't sign on this page, they will be moved to an "Inactive Participants" list rather then be being removed from the entire WikiProject. Sorry for any confusion.--Dom497 (talk)15:20, 22 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you are still active with the WikiProject, please be sure to include your name on this list. The current deadline to add your name to the list (if you are still active) is November 1, 2012. A third and final message will be sent out during the last week of the clean-up before the deadline. Thank-you.--EdwardsBot

Szia! WikiMedicine edit

Hi

I'm contacting you because, as a participant at Wikiproject Medicine, you may be interested in a new multinational non-profit organization we're forming at m:Wikimedia Medicine. Even if you don't want to be actively involved, any ideas you may have about our structure and aims would be very welcome on the project's talk page.

Our purpose is to help improve the range and quality of free online medical content, and we'll be working with like-minded organizations, such as the World Health Organization, professional and scholarly societies, medical schools, governments and NGOs - including Translators Without Borders.

Hope to see you there! --Anthonyhcole (talk) 07:20, 9 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
