help with cite book

Could you (or TPS) convert https://books.google.co.in/books?id=OoZb_FurtwcC in {{cite book}} please? I tried to find contributors parameter for organisations, but I couldn't find it. I am looking for something similar to {{cite book|last=Rindskopf|first=Mike H.|title=Steel Boats, Iron Men: History of the U.S. Submarine Force|publisher=Turner Publishing Company|year=1994|isbn=978-1-563-11081-8|ref=harv}}. Page stalker here: Usernamekiran, there are two really simple ways to autofill citebook from a google book link. You can autofill by pulling down the "template" for book in your editing screen by pressing on the bluelinked "cite" and filling in the ISBN field. Press the hourglass icon and it will fill in most of the information, though you may have to do a bit of clean up. The other way is to paste your link in this book tool and it will fill it in, except for the publishing city, which you should input. In this case, neither of those autofill because there isn't an ISBN and it's a government report. Looking it up in Worldcat, [1] gives you enough information to complete the cite you want.{{cite book|author=United States Defense Mapping Agency|title=MC&G: Mapping--Charting--Geodesy: a Brief History of U.S. Military Mapmaking, and the First Decade of the Defense Mapping Agency|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=OoZb_FurtwcC|year=1982|publisher=Defense Mapping Agency|location=Washington, D.C.|oclc=784684004}} (it also gives the information that there is fully accessible version on Hathitrust (in which case I usually use the tool to do the autofill with the google book link and then use the fully accessible url in the citation. True story, years ago when I had a French student living with me in Oklahoma, I came home one day and she was all excited about the dragons living in my yard. (Okay, truth be told she was fascinated by cardinals, possums and armadillos too.) But, after some discussion, my husband and I asked her if she was referring to horned toads. Her indignant reply was "I am French, I know what a frog is!" We had to drag out an encyclopedia to convince her they weren't baby dragons. ;) And Sue, as long as the temperature doesn't drop below say 80F, I might manage the border. i used to have a purebred mally, as he was a SPCA dog i didn't know his kennel name so called him Ted(dy) because he was big and cuddly (although he didn't like to get picked up - GGGGRRRowly time!!:)), he was also known as wolfie by my niece who could get him to howl, a very cute duo would ensue (drat i never got it on film for her 21st:)), anyhoo, he used to make a dirt "nest" under some shrubs in the backyard and have day long siestas over the hotter summer months, but in winter lie out in the open, it was quite amusing when a damp 90lb+ dog decided to come indoors to see what his pack leaders were up to.:)) Coolabahapple (talk) 07:59, 15 March 2018 (UTC)

I am thinking snow is something that should appear only in photographs. For me, temps here are pretty consistent 85-95F year round, except in May they are 100-110F and in January 70-80F. Perfect weather for me, except for those two months. And no, I do not have air conditioning. That is a industrialized world crazy thing ;)--whenever I go in somewhere here that has it, I take a sweater and stay like 2 minutes max. I used all the sources you found! There are still some gaps including a lack of focus on her research activities and her time at Yale. I have no experience with GA writing, in your opinion, is that even possible in an article like this where many of the sources are somewhat primary i.e. from her employer? The way I look at Wikipedia sources, Thsmi002 is in two ways: 1) is by notability and the other 2) is by article building. Some sources, like primary sources or sources close to the subject can't be used to establish notability. But they are still reliable sources that can be used to flesh out the article. Copyvio

Please don't undelete copyvio's without at least checking with the deleting admin what the problem might have been. I have rev-delled the edits by Elisa.rolle which contained copyvio from here, e.g. "She wrote more than a dozen books, many of which were non-fictional books for juveniles. She also wrote several books related to Colorado topics and history." vs. "Iris Pavey Gilmore was an author of more than a dozen books, many of which were non-fictional books for juveniles. She also wrote several books related to Colorado topics and history." or "She was involved with children’s theater and dance in Denver, and she taught speech and English at the University of Denver." vs. "She also was involved with children’s theater and dance in Denver, and she taught speech and English at the University of Denver." I couldn't see the copyright infringement, Columbia Winedot. I ran an Earwigh Copyvio check and also looked at the article the reviewer felt was being infringed. Your article was a stub that mentioned basic facts about her... we may as well say it's copyright infringement to mention she's British! I did some copyedit, added info to it. However, there's so much more to add! I'm not well-versed in the kind of performance art she does, but some of the articles I cited talk about that. If you're up to expanding it, please do! Lol, I didn't start finding a lot till I searched by Sanders. Since women more commonly change their names, it makes it vital that we search by all of their various names and combinations. I love what you did for this article Sue! It's such a great example to illustrate the issues with SNGs locking people into only one facet of their lives and the problems with women's names obscuring sources. More and more, I think the public gets that the history we have been taught/told is slanted, but it is really hard to get the systems which produce information (media, schools, governments) to change the way that they tell the stories. Hi Megalibrarygirl, Would you have access to the entry on Lise Gervais in A Dictionary of Canadian Artists, Vol. 2: G to Jackson by Colin S. MacDonald ISBN: 0919554040? I can't figure out if it has been digitized.

I have written an article on her and would like to include it as a source if she is in there, and I think she is. It would be great if we could improve the lede.

• Now that ACTRIAL is inoperative pending discussion, please be sure to look for tell-tale signs of undisclosed paid editing. Contact the creator if appropriate, and submit the issue to WP:COIN if necessary.

Subject-specific notability guidelines

• The box at the right contains each of the subject-specific notability guidelines, please review any that are relevant BEFORE nominating an article for deletion.
• Reviewers are requested to familiarise themselves with the new version of the notability guidelines for organisations and companies. A further discussion is currently taking place at: Can a subject specific guideline invalidate the General Notability Guideline?
