Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2013–14 UEFA Champions League qualifying phase and play-off round. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Stop changing the aggregate score if you dont know them. How can it be 3-0, when the match is 1-1? 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification

edit

Hello, Thank you for your recent edits on 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification – CAF Second Round, but wikipedia is not a live scores site. Please wait until the match is officially over before submitting your edits. Thank you, Skyblueshaun (talk) 16:31, 8 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification – CAF Second Round shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Monty845 17:48, 8 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Slow down

edit

Hi.

I might not be the right person but I would like you to slow down a bit when editing. Often I see that someone makes an edit and then 1 or 2 minutes later you make a change and in the process the previous edit gets undone. How do you do when you get "edit conflict"? You can not just copy and paste your text. And this edit I do not understand at all what that edit was good for. I suggest you sometimes slow down and think first. No rush.

Also you still dont understand WP:LINEBREAK. There is absloutely no reason for you to remove <br />.QED237 (talk) 20:26, 25 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to 2014–15 UEFA Champions League. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. And also german teams left this year so no CC for dortmund. Next time you add info make sure it is correct. QED237 (talk) 21:20, 19 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

La Liga and Segunda División attendances

edit

Hi, Marco. As I marked in the "attendance" section of both articles, you must review the data of the previous rounds (1 and 2; the round 3 of Segunda continues having provisional data) because they changed from the first numbers that appeared in the boxscores.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2015–16 Chelsea F.C. season. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted or removed.

Appologies

edit

Hi again. I am sorry if I have been a bit hard on you the last couple of weeks. It is just very frustrating that you never write a single talkpage message and if you would have just started talking a lot of this could have been resolved faster and without any involvment from other users. However, that does not give me right to blow a small thing like this out of proportion and I am sorry about that. Just, please start talking or you risk being blocked indefinately when you make a disruptive edit. Qed237 (talk) 12:50, 7 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Qed237: I thought this was actually a nice gesture on your part, QED, until you went and said that Marco needed to start talking to avoid possible indefs in the future. Marco might have good reason to prefer not to talk. And unless there's some proof that it's really disruptive, he can go on doing so. That said, Marco, it would be nice if you could at least use edit summaries. But if the situation is as I suspect, and English is not your first language (given you seem to be solely adding football statistics, English proficiency would hardly seem necessary), it's perfectly understandable that you wouldn't. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 02:10, 9 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Mendaliv: What I meant was that if he should make really disruptive edits one day, and not answer questions and concerns from other editors, I have seen others being indefinately blocked until they start communicating. Perhaps I was not clear enough on that point because all I wanted was to avoid that he gets blocked in the future for a simple thing as not talking, which is why I suggested he might want to start talking. Timestamp

edit

Hi.

When you update statistics please remember that you should also update the timestamps as of when the stats are correct. This is done by manually updating the date above or below the statistics table. By doing this we show when the stats were last updated and it prevents other editors from accidentally updating the stats again.

Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 20:56, 20 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
