Significant additions must be cited

edit

Hello, I'm John Maynard Friedman. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Federalisation of the European Union, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.

It also had no date and no information from a reliable third-party source that the statement was in any way significant. Did anyone pay any attention? Did anything change as a result? WP:DUE applies. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 15:19, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Birth place and date for Jennifer Morgan

edit

What is your source for the birth place and date for Jennifer Morgan? No source is provided and can't find anything that connects her to Ridgewood, New Jersey, let alone anything that would substantiate her date of birth. Alansohn (talk) 17:31, 9 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

I used as source wikidata/german wiki. They have this as reference: "The date and place of birth are taken from the entry in the Munzinger archive (online). The date of birth can also be found in the calendar page of the magazine Die Zeit, see http://www.zeit.de/news/2017-04/21/geschichte-kalenderblatt-2017-21-april-21000003. Deviating from this, the online magazine https://www.greenpeace-magazin.ch stated Jennifer Morgan’s age as 50 in 2017. After that, a date of birth around 1966 would be possible." KatastrophenKommando (talk) 20:47, 9 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the update on the date of birth, which I found on archive at this link. Any news on her connection to Ridgewood, New Jersey? Alansohn (talk) 01:27, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
The german wiki has it from the Munzinger-Archiv, but sadly there is no free online acess. KatastrophenKommando (talk) 06:51, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the pointer. I usually assume that the en wiki is the best place to find sources of Americans, but in this case the German wiki is better. I will try to follow the sources through to see what I can find. Thanks again. Alansohn (talk) 03:36, 11 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Erin Saoirse Adair moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Erin Saoirse Adair, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ways to improve EC Bergkamener Bären

edit

Hello, KatastrophenKommando,

Thank you for creating EC Bergkamener Bären.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article needs more references in order to provide significant coverage for this article. See WP:SIGCOV
References that have scores, lists, order of merit and video do not pass as reliable sources for WP:NSPORT. (There have been changes to the notability guide for sports - you may wish to read WP:NSPORT ) To meet notability requirements, one more reference with significant coverage will suffice. Thank you.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.
