February 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of Olympic venues in short track speed skating may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Please discuss the issue on the article's talk page rather than simply reverting again. Please have a look at WP:BRD. I will undo my revert, but (obviously?) Your recent editing history at Run the Jewels (album) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that your some of your edits on iOS 8 don't make any sense. I noticed that you always change the release date to September 2014, but those edits have since been reverted because the release date hasn't been confirmed by Apple yet. Retired names edit

Hi there, We can not consider a name retired until we see a source, that confirms it as retired due to Wikipedia's rules on Original Research.Jason Rees (talk) 14:07, 2 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. It may seem harsh but the rules of Wikipedia mean, that we can not add in a name based on someones word for a name being retired and have to have a reliable source for each name retired. Now the source On a Learning Curve: PH still struggles with super storms, disaster resilience is both a blog and an unreliable source since it is a blog and appears to be citizen journalism. It also does not state that any names were retired bar Glenda and as a result i can not add in any names retired (bar Ruby), until we have a reliable source such as this article from Sunstar which states that Ruby will be retired.Jason Rees (talk) 16:17, 4 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

October 2015 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at You're the One That I Want. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Template:Los Angeles Kings roster edit

In order to avoid the WP:3RR rule, I won't revert your last edit to Template:Los Angeles Kings roster. However, I urge you to make the correction yourself because:

1. The Los Angeles Kings have not announced changes to alternate captains. Only change announced by the team was for their captain.
2. Matt Greene was on injured reserve last season, but was still officially listed as an alternate captain. He did not lose the "A," despite your claim. Look it up for yourself in their game notes published for each game, which includes their official roster.

In short, and with all due respect. your edit is based on what you think, not fact. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that's supposed to be based on verifiable information. As such, please revert the template as it was before you made your edits. Thank you -- Gmatsuda (talk) 13:11, 15 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

List of ASAP (TV program) segments moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, List of ASAP (TV program) segments, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Need For Speed Carbon - Mod edit

There are multiple mods for NFS Carbon, why include just one of them? Maybe this should not have been added to the article. Rcgldr (talk) 15:09, 5 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Because, it has the most notable changes, compared to the Ultimate and Battle Royale, we could add those in a section called Mods, Jusgtr (talk) 02:01, 6 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
It should be noted that these mods should not be used online (EA's Carbon server is still online and running). A separate section for the mods sounds like a good idea. Rcgldr (talk) 18:58, 6 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Look, I appreciate what you've been doing but putting an end date on the temporary programming changes when its "temporary" is redundant. Because it is "temporary" the fact that the show that went on hiatus will go back on the air is implicit in the term "temporary" which, again, makes putting an end date on it redundant. Let's just wait for the show to get back on the air and then let's wait for a reference that we can attach to it before we update it again. It just doesn't make sense for us to make obvious what is already implied because that is equivalent to making the obvious even more obvious. Hope you understand. Warmest regards. Gardo Versace (talk) 09:15, 2 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Okay! Will just add a note to not add a date, because if an extension of the lockdown were to occur, the rerurn will continue as long as Metro Manila is under ECQ. Jusgtr (talk) 09:18, 2 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Jusgtr: Thank you! Glad you understand my point. Happy editing. Warmest regards. Gardo Versace (talk) 09:44, 2 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:DIVAS (Filipino girl group) edit

Hello, Jusgtr. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "DIVAS".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Re:ABS-CBN shows again edit

Good day Jusgtr!

I dropped by again with regard to your edits to the ABS-CBN shows that were on rerun during the ECQ. I've fixed them but I might as well inform you of what you did wrong. You see, the problem with your edit is that since the section pointing to the rerun has a start date, you tend to put an end date in the same sentence even though that sentence and the reference attached only mentions the start date. Thus, you are changing the sourced content by adding a detail that wasn't in the source.

Now what I did was to write the end of the rerun separately and provide a source for it so it can be clearly conveyed and not muddy a section that is already clearly referenced. I hope you take note of this the next time you edit. Gardo Versace (talk) 00:13, 29 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, but we would fix the sentence to say the reruns only lasted for the duration of the ECQ while the tapings were paused. Jusgtr (talk) 01:39, 29 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Jusgtr: I'd rather that you don't do that. Saying it lasted during the duration of the ECQ when the preceding article says "programming changes as part of the ECQ" makes it redundant. Gardo Versace (talk) 02:22, 29 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Links to draft articles edit

Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Andrea Brillantes. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 10:32, 11 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

List of storms named Ulysses edit

Hi, Jusgtr! I saw your edit on the List of storms named Ulysses article and noticed that you inserted the replacement name for "Ulysses". However, I was unable to find a source for the new name, so I've reverted the change for now. If you can find a reliable source citing the new name, please feel free to re-add it into the index page. Thanks! Chlod (say hi!) 18:18, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

It seems like you did the same change on three other articles, but I won't be reverting those anymore unless you're not able to provide a valid source. Chlod (say hi!) 18:22, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
On second thought (given your seemingly lackluster interaction to other editors on this talk page), probably not. Chlod (say hi!) 18:24, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Regarding your user page edit

Hi, Jusgtr! I noticed that you have a section on your user page about your most-hated vandals. While vandals can be very annoying, listing them on your user page in this manner violates one of the Wikipedia guidelines on user pages. Negative information about other users should not be posted on user pages, whether they are vandals or not. Please try and remove this section from your user page.
