Speedy deletion of K. Nanda Kumar edit

A tag has been placed on K. Nanda Kumar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. triwbe (talk) 07:11, 19 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Logo of business entity named Flytxt.png edit

A tag has been placed on File:Logo of business entity named Flytxt.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello. Can you please explain this? The stub is fully referenced, with a clear layout, an infobox... What do you not like about it?Zigzig20s (talk) 10:27, 28 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry, but I disagree. It's a STUB. Surely that's enough, isn't it? Please don't tag all stubs.Zigzig20s (talk) 12:19, 28 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

You're doing it wrong edit

When you nominate a page for speedy deletion, don't put the deletion notice ({{db-notability-notice}}) on the article talk page, but rather on the user talk page of the user who created the article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:48, 28 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Tema Development Corporation edit

Very notable. Please look in google books before placing a speedy tag on articles two minutes after creation. It does far more damage to wikipedia long term than you realise.♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:57, 28 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Vidyadharan edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Vidyadharan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Thanks for uploading File:Flytxt Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
