Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:The Forty Rules Of Love

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:The Forty Rules Of Love requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://excellencereporter.com/2019/01/16/shams-of-tabriz-the-40-rules-of-love/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Draft:The Forty Rules Of Love, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. Hello HinaBB, thank you for creating the article. I was really impressed that you addressed the issues raised yesterday, so quickly. I have tagged it with two more issues. Some of the sources seem to be unreliable sources like blogs and some sources seem to be mirrors of other sources already present. It's better to replace them with reliable sources if you can find them. Unreliable sources may be removed by someone else, and blogs may be seen as spam. If these sources get removed, the content that they cite are also likely to be removed. The second issue is minor. We need at least one other wikipedia page to link to this page, obvious one would be the author's wikipedia page. After you link to this article from at least one other page, you can remove the orphan tags. Good luck! And happy editing! Usedtobecool ✉️  10:11, 7 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Mirrors

edit

Thanks for contributing to the article Gerard Lyons ‎. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Removing referenced material

edit

Hi HinaBB - just a quick note to ask you to please be careful when removing referenced material from articles, especially BLPs? Your edit at Elif Shafak removed material which referenced a source which included an excerpt from the subject's TED talk in which she stated she was bisexual. This would be considered a reliable source per WP:ABOUTSELF. Cheers! -- a consensus is queer oppression | argue | contribs 16:24, 3 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Alfie I am sorry for removing something that was right and backed up by a reliable source. Also, it was due to a misunderstanding as well. Anyways, i will be more careful. Thankyou for bringing this into my consideration. Happy Editing!! Cheers!! (HinaBB (talk) 04:43, 4 September 2019 (UTC))Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at The Daily Caller. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 05:24, 20 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

I am very well aware with the three-revert rules. Dont worry! Happy editing|!!!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Ministry of Utmost Happiness, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Unblock Request

edit

User:Bbb23 you blocked my account due to some sockpuppetry charges. The reason I am given is having my IP blacklisted for having multiple accounts. I have no connection with any other account neither I am paid for any edit. As you can see my edits and page creation are usually all about books. Please consider this. Request reason:

My IP is blacklisted and I am marked a sockpuppet for some account MNB9911 which i absolutley have no connection with.

Decline reason:

Behavioural and/or technical evidence strongly suggests that this account is a sockpuppet. Simple denial is not considered a sufficient reason to unblock the account. In order to be unblocked, you will need to convince the reviewing administrator that there is a better explanation for this apparent connection than the abuse of multiple accounts. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I tried to evaluate what happened First of all, i never submitted or tried to create talos holdings It is created by someone else and on 12 October, I was blocked for SP and I appealed against it My account was reviewed and got the clearance the deatils are already mentioned on my Talk page I am not aware of any other accounts linked. I don't understand why my account is mentioned and is there on the discussion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/MNB9911 Current version of Talos Holding was something that was published direclty and then moved to draft. My account was compromised because of the draft of talos holdings earlier and i can see that draft was totally changed. Further, IP of my ISP is same until uplink and he is offering this service to entire colony. I cannot be held responsible for actions taken by someone else. Never did i edit Talos Page and I have no idea about the users involved. Please activate my account as I have been working on this account for seven months and I have learnt alot, why would I make such silly mistake and get myself banned?

Decline reason:

This doe snot address why you were on the same IP address and using the same device as the other sockpuppet accounts linked to this account, nor does it address why you and the other accounts were all strangely interested in talos holdings. Yamla (talk) 13:24, 28 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
