An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Fellows of the British Academy elected in the 2020s, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sue Black.

Dr in infoboxes

For Infobox Christian leader infobox, it already has part of a subject's style in the infobox (e.g. "Most Reverend" for an Archbishop). If you don't add "Dr" there then it is inaccurate. Articles should be as accurate as possible. Deus et lex (talk) 23:52, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

And MOS:CREDENTIAL doesn't have any prohibition on academic titles in infoboxes, so I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. Deus et lex (talk) 23:57, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
Dr ... should be used in a Wikipedia article only when the subject is widely known by a pseudonym or stage name containing such a title ... However, verifiable facts about how a person attained his or her title should be included in the article. - its there in MOS:DOC; discuss the qualification as per MOS:POSTNOM. Its not inaccurate to only have the honorific aspect (Most/Right Reverend) in the infobox, rather than honorific + qualification. Hope this makes things clearer, Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 08:58, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
The article you are referring to only stops users referring to the subject of biographical articles as "Dr [X]" within the article itself. It doesn't prohibit the use of an academic title (once) in the infobox. And I continue to maintain that the honorific without the academic qualification is inaccurate - in Commonwealth countries where you see clergy with doctorates they are commonly referred to with both. Deus et lex (talk) 09:09, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
An infobox is part of the article, not separate from it, as per MOS:LEAD. The current standard is to not use academic titles or post-noms (no Dr, no BA/Phd etc). Feel free to argue that there should be exceptions at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Biography, however this has been gone over many times before and the current consensus still stands. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Nigerian Anglican bishops

A tag has been placed on Category:Nigerian Anglican bishops requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
