Use of Horizontal Lines

edit

Hello Ford489! While patrolling new pages I noticed how much you've used horizontal lines. They are supposed to be used sparingly. Please do not use so many in an article in the future, not a big deal. Anyways thanks for your contributions and for editing in good faith.=) Sign My Guestbook! Thanks for creating Emeric Essex Vidal, Ford489!

Some of his paintings are more well known than the painter himself! Great page. A little bit too short, however. Please use the citation aid when citing. More refs would also be helpful. Cheers!

Hi Ford489, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Proposed deletion of Manuel Canaveri (Procurador)

edit

The article Manuel Canaveri (Procurador) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG. Nothing more than a minor government official.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Portuguese references

edit

I see that you have been adding citations to several Portuguese historical articles. While this is helpful, these references have not had an appropriate format. Information should be cited as coming from a book or journal, with full bibliographic information: author, title, publication information including year, and most importantly, page numbers, (and when citing a journal, the specific article title, not just the journal name) not simply an embedded URL to a Google Books page. Telling the reader that the information comes from some undisclosed location within a book hundreds of pages long is not very helpful, nor does a link to a set of snippets a demonstration that the information is verifiable. Proposed deletion of Guillermo Brown Blanco

edit

The article Guillermo Brown Blanco has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A7: no notability claim, ROTM military person with some volunteer in the US Civil War. Fails WP:GNG due to spotty coverage. Part of a chain of articles which refbombs primary sources to justify inclusion. Wikipedia is not a genealogy website.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sockpuppetry

edit

You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at [[Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/2636z]]. Thank you. Pilaz (talk) 00:28, 4 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

What is the reason for this persecution?... I have hundreds of editions, do you want me to delete them? I will erase it if you want .. you must have some problem of sexual nature or some disease. Ford489 (talk) 00:41, 4 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Query

edit

Hello, Ford489,

Why are you tagging your page creations for deletion? Are you leaving and burning your bridges? Or does it have to do with the actions of editor Pilaz? Because it is unusual for an editor to request deletion of articles they have invested time and effort in unless they are making a statement. Liz Read! Talk! 01:19, 4 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Well my credibility is being judged, but some of my works must be eliminated. Ford489 (talk) 01:25, 4 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Blocked as a sockpuppet

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- RoySmith (talk) 17:32, 4 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Enrique Yateman

edit

The article Enrique Yateman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:G5. G5 states: "[...]any pages created via the sock account after the earliest block or ban of any of that person's accounts qualify for G5 (if not substantially edited by others)". I am making this PROD to substantiate the fact that other editors have not substantially edited this page. User:Ford489, sockpuppet of User:2636z, added 98.9% of the text on this page (according to xtools). The next three top editors on the page have marked their edits as minor. The remaining 5 editors have all made 1 edit each, which have amounted to: 1) removal of a category; 2) bluelinking and copyediting; 3)copyediting; 4)removal of a flag from the infobox; and 5) copyediting. These last five edits (3 of which should have been marked as minor edits per policy) do not in my view constitute "substantial edits", and therefore, G5 should apply here.
