Assalam o Alaikum brother!

Verbatim is original Japan corporation, not US. You can see it on Verbatim Corporation page. And I make right change, but you revert it to wrong.

New alteration

Thanks! Buddy! I have been here since 2007 but I left this work in late 2008. Since then I have seen many topics on our country, which need to be revise, as many of them have not much valid information. So lets work together and made some difference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shamie362 (talkcontribs) 09:27, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

Ok, see the topics and read the rules and regulations of Wikipedia properly before regular editing. I wish you best of luck. But remember to have a look on WP:FIVEPILLARS Faizan -Let's talk! 09:38, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

Advice from an old man

Dear Faisan, it looks like an IR violation. We must monitor ourselves more strictly than those who disagree with us often do. Never allow emotions or pride or truth to get in the way of meticulous adherence to policy: really invaluable editors learn that, and if they are notified of a slip, no matter by whom, they do well to display the correct attitude and revert. It's pointless to worry Arbcom, or argue on these matters there when a simple admission of a slipup can mend the error. True, this often means that rubbish is restored, but you should have some confidence, esp. in the present case, that other editors will ensure that it is eliminated in a very short time. Regards, and best wishes for your exams. Nishidani (talk) 11:16, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

This student will stick to your advice, Sir! You need not to worry, I am sorry if my citing of your note in support to my revert, caused any problem for you, anyway forget that. Cheers. Faizan -Let's talk! 12:34, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
Sorry to interrupt, but I believe Nishidani meant you ought to self-revert your last edit to the Palestinian people, so you won't get blocket for 1RR violation. I would support his advice, the article will eventually end up having a map that complies with consensus and for your own benefit you shouldn't risk being blocked over this. IRR is draconically enforced, it doesn't matter whether you are factual right or wrong when you violate it. (It may look like Greenberg is in violation of IRR and may risk being blocked as well). Regards, Iselilja (talk) 13:12, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
Ok, I have reverted my edits, and restored to the previous revision by Greenberg, Thanks for your advice. Faizan -Let's talk! 15:29, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

I removed two entries you added to Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Academics and educators. That deletion sorting list is about *people* who are academics or educators, not academic books or institutions. It would have been more appropriate to list those entries on Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Science or Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Schools. —David Eppstein (talk) 19:43, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

Frederik Andersen at Worlds 2013

Hi,

I deleated Frederik Andersen from the list because he is not included on the Danish 2013 IIHF World Championships roster due to club commitment. Of course he would be on the roster if his NHL team had not qualified for play-offs, but because the list reflects the Danish WC roster for 2013 he should not be there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.49.187.207 (talk) 13:50, 10 May 2013 (UTC)

Obviously, No hate with India is there in Pakistani people, and there would be a split-mandate, or a coalition government! We are hoping for the best, and Imran Khan, if he wins, has promised a "New Pakistan". Really, I don't know why these countries fought four wars, peace is now the public pulse of both countries, and that's it. Faizan -Let's talk! 16:53, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
Yep, it's not the people to blame at all...but the government...Pakistani govts dictators have always been unfriendly and started wars uselessly.... I don't think that would stop if Nawaz Sharif comes into power again...I remember the Kargil War...I hope Imran Khan could come to power...All the Best, Strike Σagle 01:28, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
Well, the Pakistani dictators were not alone in this brutality with the people of the subcontinent, obviously they were not so mad to start a war without a context! But anyway, The people here are hoping for the best, may they succeed! And Thanks for your inquisition on the topic! Cheers. Faizan -Let's talk! 05:18, 11 May 2013 (UTC)

I edited the Pakistani general election page, as far as the citation for the date is concerned, simply because if one takes a look at other election pages on Wikipedia, one does not see citations on the date, within the infobox. Also, since you seem to be very active on Wikipedia, I would urge you to ensure that the election page remains politically neutral and the serious instances of incorrect grammar are corrected. Un.autre.monde (talk) 02:24, 11 May 2013 (UTC)

@Un.Autre A reference at the infobox will not be a new thing, Secondly you removed that link from the lead too, I thought that there may be a problem with that link. Re: Islam

Nobody's story of entering Islam is ever short. I sent Wamiq an email, so if you send him an off-Wiki email he could give you some information about how to find me. In short, I was a follower of New Atheism until I realized that claiming atheism requires as many dogmatic beliefs as does monotheism. From that point, I began asking questions and found many of my comrades were as upset by that as a stereotypical Sunday school nun. I converted after trying to prove Islam wrong and failed. Don't be impressed, though. Born Muslims have this weird idea that converts are better than them because we chose. That's wrong. We come from materialist societies where people have empty hearts and respect very little, even their own parents. We need to learn a lot from you born Muslims. MezzoMezzo (talk) 08:46, 15 May 2013 (UTC)

That's great Mezzo! I will contact Wamiq. Well the reality is that the born Muslims do not care, they are given a religion, free of cost. And thus they don't care and fall short. I really appreciate your journey, there is still a lot to do for Muslims. I will wish you best of luck for your future too. Congrats for your new life! And a Miracle indeed it is. Mukti Bahini‎

Two things, one you should not be on ANI asking for MrT to be warned over his cussing when you do the same thing, MrT at least has an excuse for getting emotional over what he was editing, you however did not. The second is that it is common knowledge that 3 million killed is the upper bound estimate for those killed, if as your user page suggests had expanded this article you would obviously know this. Your user page also says you helped expand the liberation war article, yet you choose to remove information which is easily sourced. Try not to do that again. I am also still waiting on your sources for MB torture camps, whatever happened to those? Darkness Shines (talk) 12:27, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

Three things, one that the "common knowledge" is not valid for putting such figures. You ought to give references for those figures. Second, as far as MrT is concerned, you also did the same once. I did not ask for him to be warned, that was a comment. Otherwise, many other titles were available in bold for replacement of my "Comment". Thirdly, the torture camps of Mukti Bahini existed, no doubt, and even Mukti Bahini had friendly bilateral relations with the Republic of India, I know you are waiting curiously for those references as far as Mukti is concerned, and just after my exams you will get them though. Faizan 12:35, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion at Michael Moss

Hi Faizan. I've declined your speedy deletion request for this page. A person who has won a Pulitzer Prize is inherently notable, and is in no way a candidate for deletion under A7. It's easy to confirm, too; ten seconds on Google would have provided you with ample sources verifying the facts of the article. I have no idea why you'd think an A7 tag was appropriate. Please take more care when tagging articles for CSD in future. Yunshui  12:24, 17 May 2013 (UTC)

Revizto page "speedy deletion"

Hello, Fazian!

You have marked our page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revizto with "speedy deletion" tag with reference to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Criteria_for_speedy_deletion#A7

This page is about innovative software product for architects that use Autodesk Revit and Trimble Sketchup. Our users can save hundreds of hours by using Revizto technology that converts architecural models into real-time interactive 3D environments, that can be shared with absolutely anyone.

Interactive 3D rendering technology with cloud features is cutting-edge technology, that will change architectural business.

I think that such software has great significance and deserves a page on wikipedia.

During next week we will be constantly improving this page, making it more neutral and more fact-oriented.

Please kindly remove the "speedy deletion" tag!

Thanks in advice.

Palestinian Territories

Thank you for your welcome message. Please excuse me if I am not following proper procedure. It seems my first edit, to the History section of the page, has proved controversial. Following Malik Shabazz's reversion of my edit, and your amendment to it, it now reads: The Arab countries declared war on the newly formed State of Israel heralding the start of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. They claimed their invasion to "restore law and order"[123]

I have two objections to this version. First, there is no document in existence declaring war on the State of Israel. The primary source is the one I cited, the Arab League cablegram to the UN. That this was, in effect, a declaration of war on Israel is an interpretation that could be argued, but this is not the right place to introduce such controversial interpretations. Second, the word 'claimed' is argumentative and not neutral. My suggested version is:

The Arab countries announced an intervention in Palestine to restore law and order[123], heralding the start of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.

This is concise, factual and neutral, quoting the lead sentence of the primary source, without any further interpretation. It is all that is needed.

Where's that secondary source, Walk Tall Hang Loose? — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 22:50, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
Hello Walk Tall! Well, I welcome you again here. But I suggest you to do a little bit study before regular editing, and the Welcome message was meant for that actually. Being neutral is one of the pillars of Wikipedia, and you will have to abide by them. Don't treat this as an allegation but as per a primary Arab source, it is not possible to modify the statement. Your edis were not "controversial", rather I will term them as "immature", as you are a new editor. Don't worry, you will catch up, Just take your time. As far as the statement is concerned, I think that your suggestion is applicable with a few amendments, as a new separate line. And if references are not there for "Arab attack on Israel", then {{citation needed}} tag would be best! Faizan 07:29, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Besides I have amended the statement, and have added the tag. Now better put it to bed! Cheers! Faizan 07:45, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

You haven't answered my objections to the original text, and have not clearly explained your objections to my version. Sorry to repeat myself, but:

'declare' means make a statement, to 'declare war' means to make a statement that a state of war exists between two countries. On May 15th 1948 the Arab League did not make a declaration that a state of war existed between themselves and the State of Israel. To say that they did is factually incorrect. To insert [citation needed] in the hope that such a declaration will mysteriously appear is futile.

A second objection to your latest version is this: it does not mention Palestine. A reader will likely conclude that all that was happening was an invasion of Israel by Arab forces. This is seriously misleading because the initial entry of the Arab forces was into Palestine, outside the declared borders of Israel, an area where Israeli forces were already operating, and the area where there was no law and order because there was no government.

My suggested version is:

The Arab countries announced 'an intervention in Palestine to restore law and order' [123], heralding the start of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.

This is concise, factual and neutral, quoting the lead sentence of the primary source, without any interpretation. It points the reader to the article on the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. It is all that is needed.

What is your objection?

Walk Tall Hang Loose (talk) 17:50, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

I am no one to object. If you find "reliable sources" in support of your suggested version, then no one can object. Better find good sources. It has nothing to do here at my talk. Please head on to the article's talk for more discussion, or find reliable source(s) for your modification. Did not you read Malik Shabazz's reply on this? Please go find a secondary source.   Done All done now, waiting for more! Faizan 08:41, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Its great to see some real improvements taking place!!! Will be posting more links later. I have some concerns about additions of unreliable sources on some other articles, but maybe it would be easier to sort out the issues on the articles themselves. I will delete those links giving the reason in the edit summary. Since you have reverted my edits on those articles, I suppose you have them on your watchlist. You need not try to find refs for everything that I delete. All info is not encyclopedic in the first place, and it may be impossible to find refs for lots of info, even if the info looks encyclopedic. If we cannot find proper, reliable refs for info, we can and should ignore to include it. If the info is unencyclopedic or impossible to reference properly, I think it is best to let it remain deleted.
I do delete unsourced/unreliably sourced stuff from non Pakistan articles too. I am concentrating on Pakistan related articles for now. Some months ago, there was a discussion at the village pump where several users had expressed serious concerns about the particularly poor state of most (but not all) Pakistan related articles (and I agree). So, until I am satisfied that the general Pakistan articles sphere is up to an acceptable standard of referencing, I am going to focus mainly on Pakistan related articles. Cheers.OrangesRyellow (talk) 09:19, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Agreed, no problem at all. And remember that we should be not so harsh for the content which is at least encyclopedic. And Welcome again for your contributions on Pak-related articles! Faizan 11:39, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Although I am with you on most of what you say, and much appreciate your efforts, my view on the issue is that unverifiable info should have no place on WP, whether it looks encyclopedic or not is immaterial (as long as it is unverifiable). Proposed move of Frere Hall

Hello Faizan. Regarding your request at WP:RM/TR. Per this reference, it seems that the *park* is known as Bagh-e-Jinnah but the building is still called (at least in this article) Frere Hall. It sounds as though Frere Hall Gardens was renamed but that the building may still keep its old name. Can you find any reference that states otherwise? If no reference can be found, you might consider withdrawing your proposal. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 15:18, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello Johnston! I have withdrawn the request. Both the Building and the Gardens are notable, and they can have separate articles here. I will expand the article "Bagh-e-Jinnah, Karachi" with more references. Thanks for your help! Faizan 15:25, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

Hi Faizan .. I was just curiously seeing, who have recently crossed 1000 at Stiki leader-board. And I found that you have given Silver of Merit (10,000 contrb) to User talk:Mifter, but the table shows 1000+. Is it a mistake or I am missing something. --Vigyanitalkਯੋਗਦਾਨ 07:22, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

Hamid Nasir Chattha

I've declined your proposed deletion here, based on the politician being a former speaker of the Punjab Assembly. No qualms if you'd like to take this to AfD, I haven't researched this enough to have a firm vote at AfD ... yet ... but I don't think you'll find the Speaker position will leave this an "uncontroversial" deletion in any case. Thanks. --j⚛e deckertalk 18:20, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

Plushies

Plushies are most often used as play toys by children not by "furry's, or plushophiles". These cases of furry and pedophiles are rare cases and should not even be mentioned. It also leads people to believe that all plushies are animals which is also not true. It is also very vague to simply put "a stuffed toy". Stuffed with what? Most cases with polyester stuffing. Very disappointed to see my changes erased. I guess wikipedia is just a bunch of unreliable nonsense. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.51.196.0 (talk) 03:55, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Amir Abdullah Khan Niazi may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. Thank you for restoring the edit. I actually have an account, I need to find the password and username I forgot it because it's been long. Sorry for the harsh words earlier, I was very disgruntled that my edit was deleted. I don't do a lot of editing but when I do it is well thought out and researched (for example I looked up what the stuffing sold at most stores was called). Thanks again, and I'll go find my username and password, it's saved somewhere in my emails. Hi Faizan! Even though the article is not about the award, but its quite relevant to have a bit of mention about it there. --Zayeem (talk) 13:55, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

I have no grudge on its mention there. But if all of the militants or Sepoys were given Bir Shresto, then a short mention should be made. Faizan 13:56, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

First Use of the term "101"?

Hi Faizan,

I stated the earliest use of the term 101 in the English language as used in America as I know it.

What do you know about this?

Welcome to Wikipedia Jay. Your edit did not seem to be intended for an encyclopedia. It was rather more personal commentary. That's why it was reverted. Don't make such comments in the article, you can cite your concerns on the talk page of the article. Now, if you have a reliable source in support of your argument, you can replace it in the article. Changes to SuggestBot's suggestions

We have changed the number of suggested articles and which categories they are selected from. The number of stubs has been greatly reduced, the number of articles needing sources doubled, and two new categories added (orphans and unencyclopaedic articles). We have also modified the layout of the suggestions and added sortable columns with various types of information about each article. The first two columns are:

Views/Day
Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
Quality
Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.

The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:

Content
Is more content needed?
Headings
Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
Images
Is the number of illustrative images about right?
Links
Does this article link to enough other Wikipedia articles?
Sources
For its length, is there an appropriate number of citations to sources in this article?

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly, your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping!
