Moving pages edit

Seek consensus on the relevant talk pages before moving articles. Moving pages without specifying a reason on the Talk page causes much confusion. Thank you Hasseniqbal192 (talk) 15:55, 30 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppetry case edit

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Poarps for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. --RJFF (talk) 11:20, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
I would recommend that you register your e-mail address in your account preferences so that you can regain access to your account should you lose your password again. Amalthea 13:44, 13 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Moving articles edit

Hello.

Please do not move articles by "Copy & Paste" as you have done when moving Dostour Party to Constitution Party (Egypt). Wikipedia:Moving a page explains how it should be done properly. (And if my sockpuppet suspicion should be right, you know it!). If the move might be controversial (which is the case here, as User:Toulan11 had moved the article from Constitution Party (Egypt) to Dostour Party giving a rationale) you should start a Wikipedia:Requested move. Thank you for your cooperation. --RJFF (talk) 11:25, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Talkback edit

Hello, Chauahuasachca. You have new messages at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Poarps.

The Syrian Muslim Brotherhood is a political party too! --Danrolo 13:40, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

Since when? It is a movement, not a party...--Chauahuasachca (talk) 13:42, 19 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry, but I can't help you. Danrolo is one of the most stubborn Wikipedians I have ever known (even worse than yourself maybe ;-) I suggest that you request a Wikipedia:Third opinion. Filing a 3RR complaint against Danrolo won't help you, as you have edit-warred yourself. Getting the page blocked won't help either, because Danrolo is as much a registered Wikipedian as you are, and administrators usually protect meta:The Wrong Version. This is a content dispute between Danrolo and you (not a vandalism issue), so you have to go the way of Wikipedia:Dispute resolution, the first step being 3rd opinion. I have filed several complaints against Danrolo on WP:ANI but there has never been administrative action and Danrolo has never changed his unconstructive behaviour. --RJFF (talk) 13:57, 19 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
I've just seen that User:Soman has taken side in the conflict. You can exchange arguments with Soman, he is an experienced and reasonable editor. But please use the talk page, not the edit summary. I personally think that Soman's argument might have some merit. I am not informed about the situation in Syria, but the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt was a de facto party even before they officially registered their Freedom and Justice Party (Egypt). --RJFF (talk) 14:02, 19 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Umma Party edit

did you check the reference for Nation Party (Egypt), http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/1/64/54309/Egypt/Politics-/Egypts-political-coalitions-and-new-parties-A-guid.aspx ? It clearly states that the "Nation Party" and Umma Party is one and the same. --Soman (talk) 19:01, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you would like, please note my post regarding this article on Talk:Nation Party (Egypt). Kind regards. --RJFF (talk) 19:56, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Template:Tunisian political parties edit

Hello Chauahuasachca,

please respect WP:Consensus. If you want to change consensus, please use the talk page to discuss. Thank you for your co-operation. Kind regards. --RJFF (talk) 07:00, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Um... in the egyptian template, there are quite more parties listed. Why do you want to remove Afek Tounes?--Chauahuasachca (talk) 13:51, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
Because User:Abjiklam has argued on the talk page and established consenus. If you want to change consensus, you have to exchange new arguments and establish a new consensus. This is a basic principle of how Wikipedia works. --RJFF (talk) 17:20, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
Ah sry, i hadn't seen that.--Chauahuasachca (talk) 17:44, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Page moves edit

Hello Chauahuasachca,

for pages moves that might possibly not be uncontroversial, please use the WP:Requested moves procedure, to find consensus among the editors' community. Thank you. --RJFF (talk) 11:20, 5 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for December 5 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of former political parties in Egypt, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mostafa Kamel (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

WP:DRNC edit

Concerning your revert at Mehmed II, please see WP:DRNC; lack of consensus is not a reason to revert something. If you have an issue with what was done, cite that reason, otherwise lack of consensus doesn't mean anything, and reverting it solely for that reason goes against the WP:BRD process. - SudoGhost 14:06, 5 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Person's unconstructive edits edit

This person here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/41.68.42.170

2012 constitution of Egypt edit

Hi there, it looks like you did a page move and referenced the talk page, however I see a couple of problems with the move. (1) The move doesn't appear to have clear talk page consensus; and (2) even if you thought there was consensus, please checkout the proper closer process at WP:RMCI. Thanks Tiggerjay (talk) 05:36, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ottoman Empire edit

The phrase "An estimated two million Christian subjects of the empire died during the systematic massacres between 1914 and 1922 (approximately 1 million Armenians, 500.000 Greeks, and 500.000 Assyrians)" was added in front of four sources, but which one verifies those figures?--eh bien mon prince (talk) 22:28, 7 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Blocked edit

Because you have persisted in moving pages without discussion, you are temporarily blocked from editing. Because this is not the first time you have been blocked for disruptive moves, the duration of the block is one week.

Furthermore—and this is not a reason for this block, but should be corrected in your settings while you have all this spare time—please stop marking your edits as "minor". Minor edits do not include page moves or meaningful changes to text. Kafziel Complaint Department: Please take a number 21:35, 9 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Minor edits edit

Please stop marking all your edits as "minor". They are not. I have asked you to fix this before - please do so now.

Marking substantial edits as minor for the purpose of deceiving other editors is a form of vandalism called gaming the system. If you persist, you may be blocked. Kafziel Complaint Department: Please take a number 14:03, 26 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

September 2013 edit

Hello. I'm Jingiby. I wanted to let you know that I undid your recent contribution to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk because it didn't appear constructive. If you believe the info you have added was correct, please discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again and provide reliable academic sources. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jingiby (talk) 05:54, 19 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Blocked edit

Because you are still marking all of your edits minor, you have been blocked for one month, for disruptive editing and sneaky vandalism. If you respond here, and show me that you understand (by not marking that edit as minor) I will end the block. If you continue marking your edits as minor after this block expires, you will be blocked indefinitely. Kafziel Complaint Department: Please take a number 13:46, 19 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

CHP is no member of the Progressive Alliance edit

Previous edits (delete) of the entry “CHP is a member of Progressive Alliance” has been performed by CHP itself, due to:

A review of the entry for our political party, the Republican People’s Party (CHP) of Turkey, at Wikipedia (English, German, Italian) marked a grave inaccuracy. CHP is being internationally affiliated with the “Progressive Alliance”, whereby, CHP is no member or has any other membership status with this organization.

CHP is a member of the Socialist International and an associated member of the Party of European Socialists (PES). Accordingly, CHP does not have any membership relation with any other international organization alike other than the above mentioned.

In addition to this; user “Chauahuasachca” provides the link “http://progressive-alliance.info/expected-guests/” as proof that CHP is a member. But, the link provides only a list of political parties “expected” to attend a meeting of the Progressive Alliance in Leipzig, without mentioning if these parties are indeed members of the Progressive Alliance. A review of CHP’s internet site (English: http://www.chp.org.tr/en/) shows no affiliation whatsoever with the Progressive Alliance. But the Socialist International and Party of European Socialists (PES) are visibly present with their respective logos.

We therefore would kindly ask you to leave the entry erased, which is showing CHP as a member of the “Progressive Alliance”. We would be happy to cooperate with Wikipedia and also provide documents for this intent. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.45.16.110 (talk) 14:05, 2 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Reblocked edit

You assured me that you would quit marking your edits as minor if they weren't minor, but you've continued to mark them as minor. Minor edits are small spelling or grammar corrections. Adding a period or space or fixing a table. Your edits are not minor. This is disruptive because it complicates other editors ability to review your edits. When editors see an editor marked as minor, they do not expect to find anything more than grammatical fixes.--v/r - TP 17:44, 9 January 2014 (UTC) Reply
