Hi Casint! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Sandtalon (talk) 10:53, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the message, I'll mark my edits more carefully next time. Casint (talk) 15:58, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2022 Buffalo shooting. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. RteeeeKed💬📖 18:38, 6 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

That's all right but there was no malicious intent with my edit. Casint (talk) 18:39, 6 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

March 2023

edit

Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Lia Thomas. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. MOS:DEADNAME is very specific about when a person's pre-transition name may be used, and the Thomas article does not qualify.C.Fred (talk) 04:01, 5 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • Please make note of the comment that you deleted in attempting to make the edit to the Lia Thomas article. I repeat it here so you now have full awareness of it: "In accordance with Wikipedia's Manual of Style, do not add the deadname, as although it has been published in some sources, Thomas was not widely known by this name." —C.Fred (talk) 04:03, 5 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Nothing, Forever, you may be blocked from editing. bonadea contributions talk 06:57, 5 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:54, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Personal attacks

edit

Hello. I see you've already been notified, but I shall remind you again that gender-related disputes and controversies are a designated contentious topic. Personal attacks like this are not allowed. Please strike that remark. -- Maddy from Celeste (WAVEDASH) 21:48, 8 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Am I at fault for noticing that your beliefs or identity may have a factor in your nomination for Lady Ballers to be deleted? It's a giant coincidence, isn't it? Casint (talk) 01:00, 9 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yes, you are. Bringing up someone's transgender status against them in a dispute is a highly inappropriate personal attack, which is not allowed (WP:NPA). Pertinent concerns about user conduct should be taken up at appropriate venues per WP:RUCD. -- Maddy from Celeste (WAVEDASH) 09:27, 9 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
