Speedy deletion nomination of Nathan Crepaldi da Cruz

edit

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Nathan Crepaldi da Cruz, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Nathan Crepaldi da Cruz moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Nathan Crepaldi da Cruz, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Creating others' userpages

Hi! I recently noticed that you created the userpage of TimothyThatcher69. However, unless they are a sock or are banned, it's best to let themselves decide what their userpage should look like. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Beijing Renhe F.C., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Daniel Wong. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:31, 7 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page DeMarcus Cousins appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. Despite rumors on the market (some of which are credible), Atalanta has not yet signed Kovalenko. If and when the club signs him, he still will not move until June 2021 at the earliest. As this change was unsourced and made before anything is official, I have reverted it. I see that you have already been warned about adding unsourced content, so I urge you to be careful and make sure all your additions, especially those concerning living people, are supported by reliable sources. In line with the above warning, you may risk being blocked if this pattern continues, so keep this in mind. ComplexRational (talk) 18:42, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

June 2021

edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to UEFA Euro 2020 statistics, did not appear to be constructive. Please do not update statistics or scores while a match is in progress. Instead, wait until the match has finished before updating. At WikiProject Football there is a consensus not to add live scores and not to update any statistics while a match is in progress. Without live updates it is easier to avoid duplicate information and errors being published on the article. Thanks, S.A. Julio (talk) 18:05, 16 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

ANI notification

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. GiantSnowman 21:07, 6 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Stifle: they are still adding unsourced content to BLPs - this from a few days ago, this just now. Do you stand by your ANI comments that this is not actionable? When/where do we draw the line? GiantSnowman 19:23, 11 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
@GiantSnowman: There is no violation of Wikipedia policy here; please read the second paragraph of WP:V. Stifle (talk) 08:30, 13 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Stifle: Please read WP:BLP - "We must get the article right. Be very firm about the use of high-quality sources. All quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be supported by an inline citation to a reliable, published source. Contentious material about living persons (or, in some cases, recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion. Users who persistently or egregiously violate this policy may be blocked from editing." (my emphasis). Editors are routinely blocked for adding unsourced content to articles, including BosnianBeast60 twice before! GiantSnowman 10:22, 13 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
Read it yourself – you are ignoring the word "contentious". Statistics about a sportsperson's performance or an update of the club they have moved to cannot be considered contentious. BosnianBeast60 is trying in good faith to improve encyclopedia articles, and I am not going to stop them because they don't cite everything perfectly. Stifle (talk) 10:24, 13 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
