Player Infoboxes edit

Hi - I note that you have been changing the appearances and goals totals in the Infoboxes for Swansea City players, presumably to include cup goals. As the infobox should only record LEAGUE appearances and goals, I have corrected the details for Garry Monk and Nathan Dyer. Could you please review your other edits and correct those where you have got it wrong.

Could you also date-stamp the updates that you do by inserting ~~~~~ in the "pcupdate" section and to use the edit summary to explain what you have changed. Thanks. Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 05:32, 28 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Statistics edit

Hi,. good work with updating stats on footballers' infoboxes, but you need to update the fields entitled "pcupdate" for club stats and "ntupdate" for international stats. These need to be updated as they give the date of the update, so everyone knows the stats are actually up to date. To do this, type five tildes (~) into the "pcupdate" or "ntupdate" field, and the date of the update will be given. Thanks, Kosack (talk) 17:15, 18 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

2010–11 Football League edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of 2010–11 Football League, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://goodseatsnow.com/the-who/wiki.php?q=2009%E2%80%9310_Football_League. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Swansea City Historical League Positions 1950-2008.png edit

A tag has been placed on File:Swansea City Historical League Positions 1950-2008.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Thank you for uploading File:Swansea Kit Shorts 2008.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.   Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Mark Williams (Welsh snooker player), as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. RE:Milos Raonic head-to-head table edit

Hi there!

As you can see I was the one who originally put up the table with your top 10 criteria (thus including James Blake and Radek Stepanek as well). Than someone came and changed it to the current form. I am really confused as I myself feel like Blake and Stepanek are not the same size as Nadal-Ferrer. Maybe let's say (and indicate) that the criteria to qualify to the table is that they have a meeting WHEN at the same time the opponent was inside top 10 and track back if they had encountered previously and keep on updating their ratio despite one falls out of the 10. Or is it too complicated for readers to follow? Or have a discussion of this on Raonic's talk page to have comment from others? (I also tagged a few days ago the Nadal pgae you refered to, because it is still confusing - check the page it has an inside note and one on its talk page). These trivial sections are really hard to handle...  Lajbi Holla @ meCP 13:58, 19 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I did track back the previous draws when I realized that he has a fair winning ratio against top 10 so it's not that hard work. And what stopped me from reverting the "Rank when playing" to the original when someone changed it for the first time was that an 50% (2 times from 4 matches) ratio for him is MORE realistic than saying he has a 71% chance to win (almost 3 times of 4) while Stepanek and Blake is responsible for this "improvement" (both ranked outside the top 50! when faced him). So what you think? Doesn't the first makes more sense than the latter? Lajbi Holla @ meCP 15:06, 19 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Consider this : If I play with Björn Borg right now I will definitely win, but that doesn't mean I'v beaten the world number one and I can do it with Nadal. Lajbi Holla @ meCP 15:10, 19 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I would just like to say that you have missed out Scott Sinclair on the highest money received for an out going player and also missed out Ki and Danny Graham on the incoming players list. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Invite to the African Destubathon edit

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
