Did you mean to create an article? Best regards, TransporterMan (TALK) 20:32, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

No, actually wanted to create sandbox, but messed up. Looking for the correct deletion template. Any ideas, as I've got few more that need to be tagged and always have trouble finding, ie one editor has created page, etc etc etc... Thanks

What you used isn't the right one, but I'm sure it will work. For future reference, what you really needed was {{db-g7}} aka {{db-author}}. Best regards, TransporterMan (TALK) 20:54, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

{{db-userreq}} Thanks, that's handy.

Your DYK Wind power in New Jersey edit

I reviewed your DYK, Hook, length, date all check out, however, facts such as "In August 2011 legislation was enacted to support the development..." are factually incorrect and need to be looked at before the approved tag can be accorded. A reference or two for legislature dates would also be needed. When these are done, just notify me on Talk page for me to accord the Ok tag to the DYK. Hi, I just approved your hook. Nice job on the article! I'd just like to mention that in your references, you don't need to include the entire string from WP:Citation templates, only the parts that are applicable to the citation. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Buckelew Mansion, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.jamesburg.net/jha/savehistory/historyprofile.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Contributor copyright investigation edit

In response to a clerk recommendation at Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2011 July 12, I have listed your contributions for a contributor copyright investigation, as it seems necessary to ensure that content you have added is compliant with Wikipedia's copyright policy. I'm afraid that in addition to the articles about which you've already been notified here, I've found that you have copied content from other articles and translated content from other Wikipedia projects without attribution (Neighborhoods in Perth Amboy, New Jersey and Prince's Flag, respectively). Since Wikipedia's content is not public domain, I'm afraid that this is a violation of our contributors' license. While you are welcome to take content from any Wikipedia article, you do have to provide proper credit to the original authors. (The procedure is explained at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.) I've repaired those two instances.

If you are aware of any other instances where you may have copied content from one article to another or translated text from one language to another, even if it was a long time ago, please make sure you go back and provide proper attribution.

With respect to the CCI, it is not custom to provide you with a notice for every article in which an issue is found. This is in courtesy to you, to keep from cluttering up your talk page with notices. If you wish to know what articles are tagged as problematic, please watchlist the listing at Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations/Djflem, as well as its two subpages. Sometimes contributors who are less familiar with CCI may provide you notices here, unaware of this practice. In that case, you are, of course, welcome to remove the notice.

If you have questions about this, you are welcome to come by my talk page. I will be traveling this week, but will still be checking in at my talk page, and I have talk page stalkers who are knowledgeable about these issues and may be able to assist you if I am not readily available. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 00:37, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Suggestion to pull WikiProject U.S. Streets under WikiProject United States edit

It was recently suggested that WikiProject U.S. Streets, to which you are a member, may be inactive or semi active and it might be beneficial to include it in the list of projects supported by WikiProject United States. After reviewing the project it appears that there have not been any active discussions on the talk page in some time and the only content updates appear to be simple maintenance so being supported by a larger project might be beneficial. I have begun a discussion on the projects talk page to see how the members of the project feel about this suggestion. --Kumioko (talk) 00:30, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Summit Playhouse edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Summit Playhouse requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Karthik Nadar (talk) 06:00, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Re: Carnegie libraries in NJ edit

Regarding the Union/Union City/Union Hill confusion-- My original purpose in creating those lists of libraries was to digitize a resource that was (and still is) fairly obscure in print; namely, the original lists of Carnegie libraries, culled from the four references listed at the bottom. As I recall, those lists were themselves pulled from Carnegie's archives, on microfilm in New York, and they reflect the name of the municipality at the time the grant was made. I can't promise I didn't miscopy the name, but I doubt I omitted an entire word. I didn't do any research on any of the state lists, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's some confusion with modern place names. I can doublecheck one of the original sources that I have access to, but it's not easy for me to get copies of the other three. Probably the best resolution is to pore through related media around the time of the grant to try to figure out where 'Union' is. Hope that helps! Cheers. --McMillin24 contribstalk 17:07, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Grand Prix of America/Port Imperial street circuit edit

I noticed that you (at least, I tihnk it was you) proposed merging the Grand Prix of America and Port Imperial Street Circuit articles. I imgaine you felt the merge was necessary because of similar content between the two pages. However, it is a common practice for Formula One-related pages to have separate pages for the circuit and for the parent event. As more information becomes available, the two pages will start to head in very different directions. For example, if you look at United States Grand Prix and Circuit of the Americas, you will see that they share some similar content because they are inherently related, but a separation is completely necessary. As more information about the Port Imperial circuit and the Grand Prix of America emerge, the pages will evolve. Merging might have benefits in the short-term, but with the race just under two years away, information will come thick and fast. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 04:38, 30 October 2011 (UTC)

Hey edit

I would like it if you would stop reverting my edits on this page as I am trying to expand the page, but you mass-reverting it is not helping. So what if it is adequately covered in the main article? If anything, having the separate page is great because it will allow for people to know that it is there and expand it. Constantly reverting me is not cool because the hospital did exist for a long time, is a huge complex, and treated many people, something that a lot of the existent hospitals today have never done. As to your charge that it is covered better in the main article for Ellis Island, that is utter crap. There is more information potential in a separate page with a sentence and infobox with a photo than one which mentions the hospital in one sentence. Additionally, having the page within another article restricts its potential in more ways than one. I know you mean well, but please stop reverting me as I am trying to expand the encyclopedia, and reverting pages like that is not how I like to spend my time and energy. I'm sorry if I offend you here, but I am trying to not escalate the situation further and I don't want us to get blocked for violating the 3RR rule. Speedy deletion nomination of List of cemeteries in Hudson County, New Jersey edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of cemeteries in Hudson County, New Jersey, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Calton | Talk 09:31, 25 May 2012 (UTC)

Hackensack River crossings edit

While messing about on the page, I noticed a crossing that appears to be missing from the list: There appears to be a bridge at 41°04′13″N 73°58′32″W / 41.07024°N 73.97554°W / 41.07024; -73.97554, carrying what's labeled (on the Google map) as Fifth Avenue over the river. It would go between the Palisades Interstate Parkway and Western Highway entries. Deor (talk) 22:56, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

As far as the source of the river goes, the coordinates given for the source and the mouth in the infobox of Hackensack River appear to be correct—they agree with what the U.S. Geological Survey topographical map shows. One last point: The coordinates given in the list for the Lake Tappan Dam are for what looks like a causeway/bridge (it's hard to tell from the Google map) carrying Poplar Rd. / Washington Ave. Is that actually the dam, or is the dam the thing a couple of hundred feet downstream? Should there be two entries here? Deor (talk) 23:54, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

Individual Article on Hillric Bonn? and perhaps the other Hudson tycoons. edit

Noticed all your fine contributions, esp. the railway, and was wondering what you thought of an Article on the Bonn's, particularly Hillric? The connection between the railway, Palisades Amusement, Eldorado, etc., all gets lost in the references. You and other are certainly more knowledgeable than myself. I have a tendency to put stubs of articles out and receive criticism for their lack of completeness; but, times a wasting...and maybe something is better than nothing. Let me know your thoughts? Personally, my roots are not in the area; but find it fascinating being that "it" spilled out to the rest of the country from there.
