Available titles edit
The following is the complete list of the 215 Virtual Console titles available for the Wii in Australia and New Zealand sorted by system as listed within the Virtual Console section of the Wii Shop Channel.
The "PAL Conversion Issues" column indicates whether the title is known to suffer from currently unaddressed NTSC to PAL conversion problems (see issues regarding PAL Wii systems). Games with "Some" have had the borders reduced, and while the gameplay runs at a slower speed than their NTSC equivalent, the music has been sped up to play correctly.

Future releases edit
New games are expected to be released on Fridays in Australia at 9:00AM and in New Zealand at 11:00PM AEST. Upon release they are announced on Nintendo Australia's website.[1]
A number of upcoming titles can be found in the OFLC Classification Database upon being rated prior to release.[2] However, games rated after the introduction of classification guidelines for video games (from late 1994 onwards) still retain their original rating, and may not appear on the OFLC website as a game newly rated for their Virtual Console release.
Update Notes edit
- TurboGrafx-16 games were originally not available in Australia, however they were introduced in the July 6, 2007 update.
- Despite the fact that the European and Australian Virtual Consoles are almost identical in game releases, the October 12, 2007 update saw Australia receive Axelay, whereas Europe received Probotector II: Return of the Evil Forces instead.
- Currently, Commodore 64 titles are not available on the Australian Virtual Console, however they are available on the European Virtual Console. As Europe received only one game on May 23, 2008 -- a Commodore 64 game -- Australia did not receive any Virtual Console titles.
- There was no Virtual Console update on June 6, 2008.
