Notes edit
It seems thar especially in 1938 several of her recordings in German were released in theR-series of the Parlophone label in Britain! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.164.125.176 (talk) 03:14, 10 March 2008 (UTC) About the songs Ich weiss es wird einmal ein Wunder geschehen (I know that one day a miracle will happen) Davon geht die Welt nicht unter (This is not the end of the world), it should be noted that lyricist Bruno Balz hat been gotten out of jail (imprisoned for his homosexuality) by composer Michael Jary, who said he needed a good and efficient lyricist for "this important film" (1942) Die grosse Liebe.. the great love....(Leander playing the part of a Danish (!) cabaretsinger in Berlin falling in love with a German pilot stationed in France during WWII), and Balz surely had other "miracles" in mind than what the after-world would say, naming it a "durchhalte-schlager" (a pop song of coping....with the war until the "miracle"..German victory) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.164.125.176 (talk) 03:32, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Intro far too brief edit
The introduction is far too short. No mention whatsoever of the serious Nazi allegations against her, and the counter-allegation that she was in fact a Soviet spy. These conflicting stories are, arguably, the key reason why she is still topical today, rather than her career as an artist. Mais oui! (talk) 07:01, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
