Swedish female authorsEdit
Hi, having done articles on Marika Stiernstedt and Anna Lenah Elgström based at least initially on the corresponding SE wiki articles, I though it it might be a good idea to see what other female SE-language authors there are SE Wiki articles for but not EN-Wiki articles, and see if more could not be written here on EN-Wiki. I do not propose to do this entirely through machine translation as I think the standards of the two wikis differ in some respects, but it is useful for a first-pass.
The goal is to write articles that are at least viable stubs for each. For this I would be looking at at least 3kb of data in each with three sources, at least two of which are clearly significant coverage of the subject.
I came up with the following list based on the SE Wiki list of SE-language authors with on SE-wiki. I intend to go through this list and mark all the ones that no WP:NAUTHOR or WP:BASIC-passing article can be written about and mark them as Not done. Anyone who wants to help on this can mark an article they want to work on as Doing.... Obviously once they are done the link will turn blue, but you can also mark them as Done. Please feel free to add any that are missing, see if any of the ones marked "not done" can actually pass WP:NAUTHOR/WP:BASIC or point out if we do have an EN-language article but it just isn't trans-wikied properly. If you do use the SE wiki article, don't forget to credit it appropriately.
First the As:
- Olga Ahl (SE wiki) Not done
- Zandra Ahl (SE wiki) Done
- Pauline Ahlberg (SE wiki) Done
- Karin Ahlin (author) (SE Wiki) Not done
- Kristina Ahlmark Michanek (SE wiki) Not done
- Gabriella Ahlström (SE wiki) Not done - she has a national encyclopaedia entry but could not find anything else but interviews
- Auda Alm-Eriksson (SE wiki) Not done the Dagbladet obituary indicates there probably is sigcov out there, but I can't find it
- Anna Alm (SE wiki) Done
- Elna Almgren (SE wiki) Not done
- Julia Althin (SE wiki) Not done - I think an article could be written based on the Dagsbladet obituary and the Nordisk Bok Kalendar listing, but I don't have full access to either of these.
- Elin Ameen (SE wiki) Done
- Karin Anckarsvärd (SE wiki) Done
- Åsa Anderberg Stroll (SE wiki) Not done - a lot of coverage but could not find any actual WP:SIGCOV

- Ingrid Andersson (author) (SE wiki) Done
- Mariann Andersson (SE Wiki) Not done
- Mary Andersson (SE wiki) Done

- Susan och Mats Billmark(SE Wiki) Not done

Help with article notabilityEdit
I could use some help reviewing the new-ish article Kal (Gothenburg). Is this archetype/stereotype notable outside of Gothenburg? The Swedish Wikipedia article only has the same one source in the English version, so is this something with more sources available? Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 02:23, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
I think the scope should be "Kal å Ada" [1], discussing either one independent of the other comes across as rather strange. The fictitious duo is well known outside Gothenburg and clearly notable. Draken Bowser (talk) 09:24, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you! Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 14:19, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
- I'll add this to my list of articles to improve, I've already referenced Kal and Ada in another article I am reworking in my sandbox (now also linked to Kal and Ada), and have some additional sources. :) – Elisson • T • C • 20:17, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
Should Earl and Jarl be split?Edit
Please comment at Talk:Earl#Split article? to give your opinion on whether text on the Scandinavian jarl should be moved to Jarl (title), which currently redirects to Earl. Thanks. Ltwin (talk) 01:55, 8 July 2022 (UTC)
Draft for reviewEdit
Hej, This is just to check if anyone here might be qualified to review Draft:Exxentric? In particular the full page print articles in Dagens Industri and Aftonbladet might be more difficult for non-Swedes to assess. Thanks in advance, /Urbourbo (talk) 12:07, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
