Request for wider input on discussion at WikiProject Tennis edit

There is a long, ongoing discussion at WP:Tennis about the tournament tables found in tennis articles on English-language Wikipedia (e.g., this type of table). The discussion is about whether the "official sponsored name" of a tournament - such as Pacific Life Open - or another tournament name without the sponsor - such as Indian Wells Masters - must be used in those articles. Please join the discussion here. Thanks. Tennis expert (talk) 09:32, 4 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Photo edit

It is inappropriate to show a photo of someone other than the entry's subject. There is bound to be a photo of Noah alone or as the center of focus somewhere. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skaizun (talkcontribs) 22:52, 29 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Non-singing photo for Tennis infobox edit

Since Noah has had two careers, a tennis career and an entertainment career, we have a separate "sports" infobox and later on an "artist" infobox. But we are using a picture showing Noah singing in the tennis infobox. I think this should be replaced by a proper tennis photo, and if not found, by a neutral face photo. The one we have now is appropriate on;y for the "artist" infobox below. Can anybody help provide a tennis photo at the beginning? werldwayd (talk) 14:32, 22 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

skin color edit

"first black man to win the French Open" He's not black. At most he is a nicely tanned light-skinned person. FonsScientiae (talk) 22:12, 2 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Not that it matters to your racist, statement. You are aware that there are light skinned black people in the world. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.79.92.54 (talk) 17:17, 29 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Should there be a chart for his doubles Grand Slam performance? edit

As a grand slam doubles champion I believe it makes sense to have a chart alongside Noah's singles grand slam results detailing his doubles results. Before putting in the effort to find these results, do people here think this would be a valid addition? 184.160.31.75 (talk) 06:18, 30 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
