Sources
editNo indication of sources actually used. Most of the substance of this article was added in a single edit by User:Northland45, who has no other edits to Wikipedia. I have no reason to think any of it is wrong, but it is essentially uncited. - Jmabel | Talk 06:16, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
Possible relationship to James Fisk (politician)
editI came across some information on Find A Grave that said James Fisk (politician) was the father of Willbur Fisk. I have not found this information anywhere else and Willbur Fisk's Wikipedia article shows that his father is the Honorable Isaiah Fisk, but there are no sources cited. I wondered if anyone else had any information regarding this? Thank you...--BuzyBody (talk) 17:53, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
translation of the Bible into the Mohawk language
editThe statement that Fisk secured funding and the project was completed in 1839 suggests to the reader that this was the first translation. It ignores the translations of the gospels by Joseph Brant, John Norton, and others. Humphrey Tribble (talk) 07:31, 30 October 2021 (UTC)
