– Maybe an eager move, but there is only one article within the current mainspace. There are no mentions to "Very Nice" in Borat's article, the only Dermansky novel with an article is a stub, and only one album under the record label has an article, plus the label would likely be "Very Nice Records" if it had an article. Not to say these other things wont eventually be notable, but in the meantime I would say the song is WP:PRIMARYTOPIC Orangesclub (talk) 06:27, 26 June 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. - Support only use. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:17, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
- Weak oppose per WP:PRIMARYRED:
The existing article is not automatically the primary topic
. Very Nice (novel) looks to be comparably significant. Hameltion (talk | contribs) 23:53, 26 June 2024 (UTC)- @Orangesclub: What do you make of this application of WP:PRIMARYRED? Graham (talk) 05:09, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- I disagree with it, although I do respect it isn't easy comparing songs and novels. Going off of WP:DETERMINEPRIMARY, I'm not having any luck getting WikiNav to work but the second point on article traffic heavily favours Seventeen (South Korean band) over Marcy Dermansky, and comparing views on corresponding pieces of work The Red Car and Hot (Seventeen song) also favours Seventeen. Looking at the Google Trends [1] the song really seems more notable to me. I believe that the vast majority of readers searching up "Very Nice" will be looking for the song. - Oppose per Hameltion. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 16:27, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- @King of Hearts Do you have any justification? Have you looked at the Google Trends? [2] Orangesclub (talk) 23:47, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- I'd like to add now that the song article has been up for a few days we have view counts: [3]
The song gets the vast majority of the traffic. Orangesclub (talk) 13:02, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose, Borat's well known catch phrase is probably the common meaning of this term, so the disamb relieves any surprises. Randy Kryn (talk) 15:27, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. Far too generic to have a primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:54, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
- Support per consistency with things like Twice. None of these oppose arguments hold any, any water at all. WP:NWFCTM is strong here. There is only one reasonable article to be looking for here, and that should be the primary topic. Red Slash 06:09, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
- Support. I don't find any of the arguments against this move to be convincing. It hasn't even been shown whether the Dermansky novel is notable, let alone a reasonable contender for the primary topic, and the fact that Borat's catchphrase isn't even mentioned in the Borat Sagdiyev article suggests that it's not a particularly significant component of the character's notability. The song seems like a clear WP:PTOPIC to me. ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 18:37, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
- Relisting comment: While I'm seeing a rough consensus, I'm relisting in the hope of a consensus, or lack thereof, becoming clearer BilledMammal (talk) 03:31, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose per Hameltion, King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠, Randy Kryn and Necrothesp. There are five entries (four of which are WP:DABMENTIONS) listed upon the Very Nice disambiguation page and, since the song's renown does not appear to have spread within the English-speaking world, it seems best to retain the dab page main title header in its existing form. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 22:49, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
