This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the person about whom the article is written is an illustrated sportsperson in Sri Lanka before it gained official test status. If other cricketers profiles are here in wikipeda why not about this person who died in 2007 having excelled in the field of sport. further, he represented the minority Tamil community and one of the few to emerge as international cricketers from the community. His memory should be recorded for the future generation and we intend to build this as and when we receive more information
