Should not the title be List of Chinese Taikonauts?
editRussia sent humans to space and called them Cosmonauts.
Just like Americans call Cosmonauts Astronauts, in English, Chinese call their Cosmonauts as Taikonauts, I think.
They do, and this article is incorrect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:2763:2800:7D7F:17DF:320:9DDE (talk) 01:41, 21 February 2023 (UTC)

List of Chinese astronauts → List of taikonauts – Per WP:COMMONNAME (ngrams), WP:CONSISTENCY with List of cosmonauts, and WP:CONCISE. BilledMammal (talk) 23:01, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:RECOGNIZABILITY and WP:CONSISTENT for consistency with our main article located at Astronaut. "Astronaut" is the common general English term for someone who has flown in space. Using a specialized term for every nationality of someone who has gone to space is unwieldy and impractical in article titles. I would suggest moving List of cosmonauts, but that is complicated by the fact that it includes both Soviet and Russian astronauts. Rreagan007 (talk) 02:12, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- Leaning oppose per Rreagan007. I would prefer to move List of cosmonauts to List of Soviet and Russian astronauts, and add text qualifying that the sections covering astronauts from other countries reflect participation in the Soviet/Russian space program. BD2412 T 06:38, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:COMMONNAME because 'Taikonaut' is not the most recognizable name. Extorc (talk) 13:06, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose per above. Astronaut is clearly the more recognizable term. I would be open to moving List of cosmonauts as well, but that one is less clear-cut, as cosmonaut is a more common term than taikonaut. —Mx. Granger (talk · contribs) 16:04, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
