The section entitled "Press Review" was an apparent copyright violation, duplicating content found at this link. I have removed the section. If material from this interview is to be added back into the article, please do so without copying the source verbatim, as that constitutes a violation of Wikipedia's policies. Thank you. Also removed other sections of text, including most of the main body, due to extensive copyright vios as indicated in the edit summaries. Seicer (talk) (contribs) 16:01, 21 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I just discovered this. It seems the article had been reduced to stub several times before, with the creator and a series of IPs repeatedly re-adding the copy-vio material. Obviously, they re-added it again. I have now reduced this back to a stub and removed the copyvio material pasted in from http://www.istanbulbarok.com/eng/leylapinar.htm Let's hope it sticks this time. The article's subject is notable, by the way. Voceditenore (talk) 14:49, 9 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Notability

edit

I've added some references to the article, including a feature article on Leyla Pınar [1] in Hürriyet, one of the main newspapers in Turkey an another one about her and her ensemble [2] in Milliyet, another major Turkish newspaper. I don't believe the notability tag applies anymore. Voceditenore (talk) 08:52, 11 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
