Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on August 30, 2009.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that Japanese theoretical physicist Kazuhiko Nishijima is well-known for developing the concept of strangeness in particle physics?

Work in collaboration with Gell-Mann edit

Did Nishijima ever work directly with Murray Gell-Mann? If yes, why is there no common publication mentioned? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.60.154.66 (talk) 07:18, 16 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

GA review (see here for criteria)

Overview: This is a short article, which is not a problem in itself, but it confines itself to the subject's professional career. Where was he brought up, where was he schooled, he was 18 years old in 1946, did he serve in the armed forces? Did he ever marry, are ther children? Did he have interests outside the field of physics? Was he involved in any major scientific controversies? As it stands the article doesn't feel, just a dry summary of his achievements.

  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose):   b (MoS):
The lead does not fully summarize the article and also conatins facts that are not in the article, please read WP:LEAD

    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
    Feels incomplete
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
