There is an obituary in the Nottingham Evening Post for 5 May 1903.
Beevor's wife Annie as described as "daughter of the late Sir James Meak", in the Lincolnshire Chronicle, 11 July 1903, available on https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/. Except that "Meak" might be a scanning error. There does appear to be a possible "James Meak", of the gentry, around in Yorkshire in the later 19th century.
