The Japanese Shaku was originated from ancient China. Its earliest record appears in Classic of Rites. (Buhuzu (talk) 20:36, 20 October 2009 (UTC))Reply
None of my sources mentioned that: this is the only reason I didn't mention China. How should we modify the article to make it clear we are talking about an object used all over Asia?
