Swami G. C. D. Bharti → G. C. D. Bharti – While the prefix Swami is quite common, the Padma Awards Directory (see page 169) shows that it is merely an honorific. Also his name can be found both without any prefix (eg [1], [2], [3], [4]) and with additional honorifics attached (eg, "Padmashree Swami", Pandit Swami). Since "Swami" is clearly an honorific and the "the name is rarely found in English reliable sources without it" exception does not apply, recommend move to G. C. D. Bharti. --Relisted. • Comment, although I don't know this one (is he a real Swami or is it his music name?), some pages which include 'Swami' in their title should stay, and others, such as 'Swami Satchidananda' should be added, imnho. If 'Mahatma Gandhi' can be used, when Mohandas Gandhi greatly disliked that title and asked people not to call him that, then any honorific should at least be considered as part of the title (again, Swami Satchidananda, a travesty of incorrect titles along with 'Mahatma Gandhi'). • Comment There is a draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Bharti Bandhu, and there is the question of whether these two should be combined to make one article, or whether the band and the Swami are independently notable. I'm not sure whether this would affect the name of the article, but there is at least one other Swami in the group.—Anne Delong (talk) 14:32, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
