Talk:Danny Green (basketball)

This article on UNC basketball player Danny Green for the lakers has several strengths. First, the information presented is very neutral and empirical -- only statistics and facts are used to describe Green. Also, it is very straightforward and comprehensible. I have a fairly good idea of what kind of basketball player Green is just from reading the article and the statistics presented. However, it would be helpful to learn a little more about Green's background (childhood, recent news, and/or quotes by him or about him, etc). It would also be improved with the addition of a couple of pictures of Green playing basketball to go along with the bio box on the right side of the page. The article also fails to mention Green's father, who has many times gained as much attention as Danny and is a very significant story involving Danny that is not included in the article. Lastly, almost all of the information provided about Green comes from one source -- obviously the article would be better if there were a few more sources for it. Danny Green article peer review

I think the bullet points of the article allow for a very straightforward and easy way for the reader to learn information about Danny Green’s high school and college careers. If you can find any information about his background, family, and upbringing I think it might add a little more the article. Also, some pictures and especially more references would help you complete a more final article with extensive information. Danny is a current figure in the public eye so you could probably find some interesting stories about him by searching through newspaper articles and other sports sites. You could try looking at other basketball players who have Wikipedia articles about them such as Michael Jordan’s page. He is obviously older and more famous so he has a lot more information available about him but his page and other basketball players’ pages would be a good place to look for inspiration on other possible topics. - Margaret Anne McArverMamcarver (talk) 17:12, 25 March 1233 (UTC)Reply

  • And alas, Wikipedia's content with having a picture of him in a Cavaliers jersey on his wiki page, though obviously it makes it look so outdated! Wikipedia, you fail so hard. I ain't uploading another damn picture on this website, someone else can go through the trouble for all I care! :/ LOL Dwscomet (talk) 19:48, 25 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Danny Green is the only player in history to ever win three NBA Championships on three different teams as well as win an NCAA championship.

Neither LeBron James, Robert Horry or John Salley got past the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament. Splerry (talk) 20:18, 13 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

I would like to be granted access to edit this page. There is an inaccuracy, Danny Green is listed on the roster for the Philadelphia 76ers yet the trade is not yet official. Matthewwith3teees (talk) 14:32, 19 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
